BJP MLA O Rajagopal visits  Employees’ Sangh leader Sajeev at General Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram

CPM-led employees union men brutally attacked the BMS union member for questioning the compulsory fundraising towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in Kerala. Sajeev Thankappan, general secretary of the BMS-led PSC Employees’ Sangh at the PSC headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, was mercilessly beaten and kicked by CPM union members on September 17.
It is to be noted; even the Kerala High Court had observed that the Government of Kerala does not have any right for compulsory collection. But, it is under the leadership of the CPM-controlled unions that the compulsory collection is being carried out in different departments of the state government. And, they call it a nickname, “Salary Challenge”! The threat is the modus operandi. Court called it “loot”. Now, the CPM unions are deployed for this inhuman torture for camouflaging the embarrassment and shame. The violence unleashed in PSC head office in the capital city is a part of this trick. Sajeev opposed the compulsory collection; he cited the high court observation to justify his stand. It was the only fault from his side. Then the CPM employees attacked him sans any provocation. He escaped due to the timely interference of his organisational colleagues. He has sustained serious injuries. He is now under treatment in General Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.
BJP state president Adv. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai denounced the attack. Heu rged the democratic forces to resist this dadagiri at any cost. CPM unions bulglarise the employees for the Pinarayi regime.
