New Delhi: “The clash between the Hindus and Muslims in some parts of the country is not due to religion but because of the politics that has been instigating the clashes for decades. The construction of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is not to show anyone inferior or superior. The matter has been politicised and the day the politics is eliminated from it, the temple will be built amicably there,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. He was speaking at a function organised by Pune based Sant Gulabrao Maharaj Sarvodaya Trust at Vigyan Bhavan on September 13.
Shri Bhagwat said Hinduism provides solution to majority of the problems that the world is facing today. The Indian culture has the capacity to restore balance between all the sects and ways of worship of the world. Noted scientist Dr Vijay Bhatkar stressed the need to spread the literature written by Sant Gulabrao Maharaj to the new generation. It should be added into the curriculum at school and college level. Minister in Maharashtra Government Pankaja Munde stressed on balance in the society. She said, to be modern does not mean to go away from one’s roots. Noted saint Dr Ramvilas Vedanti, Acharya Dharmendra and founder of MIT Dr Vishwanath D Karar also spoke on the occasion.
Sarsanghachalak calls on Jain saint Vijay Ratnasunder Surishwar Maharaj
Vadodara:RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat called on noted Jain saint Shri Vijay Ratnasunder Surishwar Maharaj on September 11. He discussed the current scenario of the country. Then he joined Ganpati Puja organised by SVCP Trust. On this occasion Shri Bhagwat said the qualities of Lord Ganesha are useful for achieving the pristine glory of the nation. Citing some of the qualities like farsightedness, big ears to hear everything, big stomach to collect all types of things, he said all these qualities are necessary for proper functioning of an organisation also.
Good literature quenches ideological hunger
Jaipur: “As food satisfies the hunger, good literature satisfies the ideological hunger,” said RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya while inaugurating a healthy literature counter at Murlipura in Jaipur on September 13. The counter has been opened at the sale counter of Gita Press Gorakhpur.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion Dr Vaidya said normally one sale counter has one type of books—some have religious while some have social books only. But this counter is no less than a Sahitya Sangam when one gets all types of books—religious, nationalist, social, etc at single place. He said the swayamsevaks provide good literature at crossings in the cities once a year. This counter has been opened to ensure that good literature is available throughout the year. The counter provides books about the great personalities like Rana Pratap, Shivaji, Vivekananda, Udham Singh, Bhagat Singh, Veer Savarkar, Dr Hedgewar, Shri Guruji, etc.
Sevika Samiti training camp in Murthal
Sonipat: A two-day training camp by Rashtra Sevika Samiti was organised in Murthal, Haryana. A total of 117 girls from all over the district participated in the camp. Apart from imparting organisational training, they were educated about various burning issues concerning the nation and the society. Addressing the camp participants, Prant Pracharika Dr Mamata said women are the first doctors of the house who look after the needs of the entire family. Equally, they can also help in reshaping the society and addressing the issues concerning the society. Prant Sewa Pramukh Padmesh Baveja said women are the makers of the nation. She said out of the 401 saints who helped in compilation of the Rigveda, 21 were women Sadhvis. She said women are inferior in no sense and they have proved their talent in various fields that they have equal role in national transformation. Tehsil Karyavahika Geeta called upon the camp participants to start Sevika Samiti Shakhas in their respective areas.
Reconnect to organic farming for healthy nation
Hyderabad: “Hindu way of life believes in milking of the nature and not killing in the name of development. Keeping this in view, it is time to reconnect to organic farming for healthy and prosperous nation,” said Madhya Kshetra Bouddhik Pramukh of RSS Shri Kacham Ramesh while addressing a gathering of farmers on September 11. The function was organised by Telangana unit of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) to celebrate the Farmers Day. On this occasion, 30 farmers practicing complete organic farming were felicitated. Six of them are young farmers who left their lucrative software jobs and became proud professional farmers. Over 500 farmers across the State attended the function.
Shri Ramesh further said when rest of the world was struggling for healthy food culture, we Indians were following the advance farming methods quoted in the Rigveda for centuries. Farming is the best profession and people adopting organic farming in this technological era are highly respected. Vice Chancellor of Acharya Jayashankar Agriculture University Dr Praveen Rao said doubling the farmers’ income is our objective and we are putting all efforts in this direction. “Through organic farming, the farmers can completely avoid the risk of fake seeds and excessive chemical usage that adversely effects the fertility of the soil and food products, said Shri PA Reddy, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Telangana president.
Youth Camp in Lucknow
Lucknow: A Youth Camp was organised by Lucknow Mahanagar of RSS on September 11. The camp was inaugurated by Kshetra Pracharak Shri Shivnarayan.
RSS National Executive Member Shri Indresh Kumar guided the youth on various issues concerning the nation like nationalism, morality, social harmony etc. He stressed the need that the teachers should make sincere efforts to instill not only the knowledge of subject but also the values of life in students.
About Kashmir he said the security and facilities provided to the separatist leaders in the Valley should be withdrawn forthwith. He said any dialogue with the separatists is possible only when they stop violence. Sah Prant Sanghachalak Dr Harmesh Chauhan was also present on the occasion.
Bharat Parikrama Yatra enters Telangana
Mehbubnagar: Veteran Sangh Pracharak Shri Sitaram Kedilaya’s Bharat Parikrama Yatra entered Telangana on September 14 through Domalupenda Village under Mehbubnagar District. Telangana is the 23rd State where it entered on its 1,499th day. Shri Kedilaya was welcomed in Telangana by Vibhag Karyavah Srinivas Reddy and Vibhag Pracharak Shri Prabhu Kumar. The Yatra Dhwaj was handed over by Shri Krishna Mohan, who was incharge of the Yatra in Andhra Pradesh to the next person in Telangana. The Yatra will travel for next ten days in Telangana and then will enter Andhra on September 24.
On September 29, it will visit Mantralaya. On October 21st, it will visit Puttaparti and on October 24th it will reach Gorantla of Andhra Pradesh bordering Karnataka. On October 25, the Yatra would enter Karnataka at Muddenahalli Village of Chikkaballapura District.
Began on August 9, 2012 from Kanyakumari, 69-year old Shri Sitrama Kedilaya has completed nearly 20,850 km distance by this mega walkathon visiting nearly 1,965 villages of 23 states. The Yatra is expected to conclude at Kanyakumari on Guru Poornima Day of July 9, 2017.
Start working in your mother tongue
New Delhi: “Hindi is getting popular not only in India but also outside the country. Some people in our country have the apprehension that the people in north-eastern states do not speak and understand Hindi. Fact is that Hindi is common interaction language there also. There is no opposition to Hindi in southern states too and people are learning it in good number. Hindi is being taught at more than 100 universities including Oxford, Harvard, etc all over the world,” said national secretary of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas Shri Atul Kothari.
He was speaking at a symposium organised at Constitution Club to promote Indian language on September 10. The function was organised by Bharatiya Bhasha Manch. The function was presided over by Shri Mehmood Khan of Uniliver and Income Tax Commissioner of Hyderabad Shri BV Gopinath, Director in I&B Ministry Shri Rajiv Jain, Divisional Manager in LIC Delhi Shri Rajesh Kumar also spoke on the occasion. Noted educationist Shri Dinanath Batra was also present.
Shri Kothari further said all developed countries of the world impart education from primary to professional level in their mother tongues only and they have made astonishing growth. “On the other hand those who do not know English in our country are not regarded as educated. If we have to make the nation developed we should get rid of the slavery of English. He said India has now become a global market and many of the MNCs are using Hindi to sell their products. They are now learning Hindi and other Indian languages,” Shri Kothari appealed to the countrymen to start using their mother tongues in their daily work before motivating others for it.
Blood donation camp by swayamsevaks
Rewa: RSS Swayamsevaks at Semaria under Rewa District of Madhya Pradesh organised a blood donation camp on September 7. The camp was organised at Saraswati Vidyalaya and a total of 37 workers donated blood. Vibhag Pracharak Shri Surendra, Zilla Pracharak Shri Lakhan, Zilla Karyavah Shri Kamta Prasad and many other senior Sangh workers were present on the occasion.
