RSS-BJP leadership has been reiterating that CPM is a common factor in any political clash in Kerala. CPM has been claiming that their quarrels against RSS-BJP are just resistance in their endeavour to protect minorities from the ‘communal RSS fascists’. But, here is an incident vindicating the popular perception that the root cause of CPM violence is their fascist-Stalinist intolerance to their political opponents. In Kallyasseri, the birthplace and the assembly constituency of the late EK Nayanar, CPM veteran and former Kerala CM, a lady Ayurvedic doctor’s clinic is attacked by CPM men hence closed. It is a blatant example of CPM’s fascist heinousness against other ideological groups in Kannur District; a clear case of human rights violation in CPM party villages. What is the fault of Dr Neetha P Nambiar and her VB Clinic?
Answer is simple. Her mother Bhanu Vidyadharan was a (Congress-led) UDF candidate in the Panchayat election held last year! It was more than enough to attack the clinic standing next to the Kalyasseri Panchayat office! Since then, CPM criminals attacked the clinic several times. At last the doctor and her mom had to seek police protection to vote in the local bodies elections. Otherwise CPM criminals would not let them vote! This happened despite Bhanu was a candidate in that election. During the victory processions after the assembly election results came in, the goons came to the clinic and showered abuses. And, they threw crackers into the clinic. Visitors’ chairs were taken away. Next day they took away the sign board fixed in front of the clinic. The doctor and her mother lodged several complaints in the local police station, but all fell on deaf years; no enquiry nor action! When police came to the spot after receiving complaints from Dr Neetha, local CPM leader told them that they should come there only when his party men ask them. He threatened in front of the police that they would not let Dr Neetha run the clinic any more.
CPM branch secretary and his henchmen came to the clinic. They shouted abuses and threatened the doctor in front of the patients. They dumped garbage waste in the clinic and in the roads leading to the clinic. CPM men even managed to get the Kudumbashree (women’s joint initiative, with the government support to seek self employment, etc.) women running the restaurant near the clinic to lodge false cases against the doctor.
Dr Neetha told Organiser that she had complained to the Ayurveda Medical Association of India. They did not take any action. Dr Neetha says, the body is CPM-controlled. She is afraid of a physical attack by the CPM men. Now, she has complained to the Kannur DySP. She laments that she is unable to do the job as per her studies. CPM does not permit others even to live and work for livelihood.
National Commission for Women Chairperson Smt Lalitha Kumaramangalam, member Sushma Sahu and BJP activist Adv OM Shaleena collected the information from Dr Neetha P Nambiar. Later on addressing a press conference Smt Kumaramangalam said that the atrocities against the women and children are insult to the whole state. The fascist attacks take place even in Pinarayi, the constituency of the CM. Government is duty bound to protect the citizens. A CM is always a CM of the whole state, not of any particular party. Chairperson said, the Commission would seek explanation from the state government concerning post poll violence unleashed by CPM in northern districts. The atrocities against the political opponents are a matter of concern in an elite and literate state like Kerala. Answering a question, Smt. Kumaramanglam said that the Commission would inform the Supreme Court of India what its stand on “triple talaq” is. Commission would support the demand, having raised up from among the Muslim community, to stop it. The Commission visited the houses of the RSS workers attacked by the CPM men in Kannur-Kozhikkode districts.
Communist Violence mars the Northern Districts
Meanwhile the reports from Kannur-Kassergod districts suggest that CPM still continues its post election atrocities against the RSS-BJP workers. The latest incident is from Koothuparambu, Kannur District. The target is the house of Kaitheri Binoy, RSS Koothuparambu Seva Pramukh. Three powerful bombs were hurled at the house. The house was badly damaged. Binoy’s brother Vipin and mother Krishnaveni have been seriously injured. The suspects are reported to be the accused in several murder cases including Jayakrishnan Mater murder case, T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case and the murder of RSS worker Uthaman. One of them is alleged to be involved in the attack against NDF worker Noushad.
Another incident is reported from Dharmmadam, CM Pinarayi’s constituency. There, CPM criminals bombed a building housing the RSS Seva Vibhag centre and BJP office. This is the third time they are bombing these offices. The incident took place past midnight on June 14, 2016. This is significant when NWC has stated that they would seek explanation from the state authorities about the CPM atrocities in Kerala.
By the time this report is almost drafted, shocking incidents keep on coming from Ottappalam, Palakkad district. The CPM goons attacked RSS-BJP workers in Ottappalam court premises. The criminals photographed the Sangh parivar workers who came to the court to see their colleagues who were arrested in connection with CPM-RSS/BJP workers’ clash in Cherppulasserry near Ottappalam. They were transmitting the pictures to somewhere. When the Sangh workers questioned a CPM man who was videographing with mobile phone, he said, he was a media man. But, he did not have any ID card. When he was asked to stop videography, the Sangh workers were attacked. But, now the anti-Sangh media syndicate shouts on top of their voice that Sangh parivar suppresses the freedom of media. It should be called that there are allegations against CPM leaders in Kannur for killing an IUML man by transferring mobile camera pictures by MMS for identification. The root cause of the Cherppulasserry incident was the ABVP victory in students’ union election in a technical educational institute there. The arrogant Stalinists threw away the ABVP flag and attacked the ABVP and RSS-BJP activists. But, the police arrested the victims! When they were brought to the Ottappalm court, CPM men came there and attacked Sangh parivar men. n
