Bengaluru: The RSS swayamsevaks on June 11 staged a massive protest at Upparpet Police Station condemning the brutal attack on its Chickpet Sharirik Pramukh Ramesh Vaishnav who was attacked by miscreants while going to the Shakha near Majestic. Ramesh suffered serious injuries and was immediately admitted to a local hospital.
RSS strongly condemned the attack and demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants. Speaking to the protesters Chickpet ACP Bhaskar assured stern action against the miscreants. The Shakha in Majestic has been operational for more than 60 years and Ramesh has been attending that for nearly two decades. “It was at about 6 a.m.as he was on his way to the meeting, he was attacked with iron rods,” a police officer said referring to the complaint.
