Suresh Kumar was not even an active worker of RSS. He was a member of BMS and fellow traveller of RSS-BJP. But Marxist demons took his life just because he celebrated the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi in a CPM citadel. He was the son of an old communist party worker, Nanu.
Eruvetti, in Kuthuparamba is a party village. So Suresh never came up in as an RSS worker though he was a supporter. Because he wanted a peaceful life with his family. “My son was a poor man. Everybody knows his character well. He was a tourist taxi driver and had no outer world than his job,” his father underscored. Suresh is survived by two children and wife. They are staying at their house but occasionally visit Suresh’s parents.
He was murdered while returning back to home. Eyewitnesses said that they were five people. Nanu swears that it was done by a local gang of goons who are fed and controlled by CPM leaders. “It was well planned”, mother Nalini said wiping her tears.
“I remember my son told me that some local leaders were staring at him whenever he passed through their area,” his mother Nalini remembers.
They arrested all the five accused. Kuthuparamba Circle Inspector is probing the case. I approached him several times seeking justice. When I met him first, he told me that there was no evidence leading to the culprits and asked me to give evidence. This is the attitude of the police in Kannur, he cites his real life experience as an example.
A local BMS worker said there were attempts to sabotage the enquiry within the police department. The local Sub-Inspector, who enquired into the case initially, himself is acting like a CPM branch secretary. “One of his friends who accompanied him on that day was injured in the attack. But nobody dares to stand testimony at the court. How can we blame them? The CPM will never allow them living peacefully after that. They too shall live in Kannur,” Nalini revealed.
They are the pet goons of CPM. The party has arranged everything for them including liquor, drug and whatever they want. Because in Kannur, this party is subsisting on these goons, Nanu candidly said.
My family members are hardcore communists. Whom should we blame? Now-a-days they are being taught that those who do not stand with us are our enemies. They won’t read a newspaper other than the party propaganda organ Deshabhimani newspaper which is full of hatred and fake news and they don’t want to know what is going on around the world today.n
