RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi released a Vision Document for Janjatis in New Delhi on March 21. The documents underlines the steps, which needs to be taken for betterment of ten crore Vanvasis. Various Ministers of the Union government including Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Minister of State for Development of north-eastern region Shri Jitendra Singh, Rural Development Minister Chau-dhary Birendra Singh, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and Kalyan Ashram president Shri Jagdev Ram Oraon were also present on the occasion.
“This Document has been prepared by the people who are working among Vanvasis for decades. Its significance can be understood from the fact that the government officials themselves are here to receive it. It shows how serious is the present Central government for development of Vanvasis of the country,” Bhaiyaji said while releasing the document. He said the process of social upliftment has begun in the country. “This document provides comprehensive steps which are required for development of the people living in remote areas. Undoubtedly, many destructive forces are active in the country for long. If we want to curb their activities, this document should be implemented effectively,” he added.
Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram President Shri Jagdev Ram Oraon said the Vision Document is the result of tireless efforts of innumerable experienced people who are working on the ground for years. He said the prime objective of the Vision Document is that the Vanvasis should make progress, while preserving their traditions and identities. Shri Jual Oram hoped the Vision Document would help in curbing various woes of the Vanvasis. He said two major problems of the Vanvasis today are education and health. If we are able to ensure them to Vanvasis, majority of their problems would be over. He promised the Document will be implemented in totality.
Union Minister Shri Jitendra Singh said the Vision Document will pave the way for new beginning in Vanvasi areas. Kalyan Ashram general secretary Shri Chandrakant Dev, Kalyan Ashram Delhi president Shri Shantiswarup Bansal and many other distinguished people of Delhi and also the officials of Tribal Affairs Ministry were present on the occasion.     n

  Sewa spirit is the remedy for many ills

Udaipur: “The service feeling, if developed among the masses, can help the nation curb many ills that are damaging the nation today. Sewa also develops self-reliance and social harmony, which is primary needs for any nation,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi while inaugurating second phase of Sewa Bharati Hospital in Udiapur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Smt Vasundhara Raje was also present on the occasion. The function was presided over by local MLA and Home Minister of the State Shri Gulabchand Kataria. Shri Salil Singhal, CMD of PI Industries was present as the distinguished guest.
The significance presence on the occasion was Pujya Morari Bapu who appealed to the well to do people of the society to contribute in providing health services to the last man of the society. Chief Minister Smt Raje applauded the effort of Sewa Bharati in serving the needy people of the society. Shri Kataria hoped for expansion of Sewa Bharati project. Many industrialists and businessmen of the city were also present. RSS senior functionary Shri Suresh Chandra, Akhil Bharatiya Sahsewa Pramukh Shri Gunwant Kothari, Laghu Udyog Bharati President Shri Prakash Chandra, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Durgadas were also present. 

Message of ‘Unity’ through Media

proceedings of the RSS Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha held in Nagaur, Rajasthan, from March 11-13

New Delhi: The proceedings of RSS Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha that met in Nagaur, Rajasthan, from March 11 to 13 were briefed to the local media through press conferences held in each Prant during last week. The press conference in New Delhi was addressed by Sah Prant Sanghachalak Shri Alok Kumar on March 15. Prant Karyavah Shri Bharat Bhushan and Prachar Pramukh Shri Rajiv Tuli were also present on the occasion.
Apart from providing details of the three resolutions passed by Pratinidhi Sabha on need for effective health care and easy access to affordable medical services; accessible, affordable and quality education for all; and practice of Samarasata in day-to-day life Shri Alok Kumar also briefed the media about the RSS view on four major issues—entry of women in temples, security agencies being targeted by anti-national forces, growing communal frenzy in the country and university campuses becoming hotbed of anti-national activities. He pointed out that a total of 1,12,520 Swayamsevaks from 33,233 Shakhas were imparted training in the Prathamik Shiksha Varg at various states across Bharat last year.
About the Sangh activities in Delhi Prant he pointed out that there were 1,400 shakhas in Delhi in 2010, which grew to 1,898 in 2016. Only in the year 2015-16, the number of shakhas grew from 1,780 to 1,898, which is the largest growth in one year so far. He said the swayamsevaks are running 1,100 projects in 265 Sewa Bastis of Delhi. He pointed out that 8,000 people have joined the Sangh through ‘Join RSS’ web portal. There are also 40 IT Milans in Delhi. He pointed out that the Sangh has decided to make the country corneal blindness free in three to five years and the Sangh workers will visit door to door from April 3 to 10 requesting people to take pledge for eye donation.
The press conference in Bengaluru was addressed by Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri V Nagaraj on March 18. He briefed the media about growth of Sangh work in the Karnataka. The press conference in Bhubaneswar was addressed on March 19 by Prant Sanghachalak of Odisha East Prant Shri Samit Kumar Mohanty. He said there are 1,169 daily shakhas, 276 weekly shakhas and 3,300 ­projects in the Prant. Bhubaneswar Mahanagar Sanghachalak Dr Basanta Kumar Pati was also present during the press conference.
In Udaipur, the press conference was addressed by Rajasthan Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bhagwati Prakash Sharma on March 22. He pointed out that the Sangh work in Rajasthan has spread at tehsil level. In Indore, the mediamen were addressed by Prant Sanghachalak Dr Prakash Shastri. Sah Prant Karyavah Shri Vineeth Navathe were also present. Dr Shastri pointed out that the increase of 247 shakhas was registered during the last one year in Malwa Prant.
