The recent spate of attacks on Hindu activists in general and RSS-BJP workers in particular, suggests that it is not an isolated incident but a brain child of a grand design. On one hand, they call for an ideological war against the idea of nation, on the other they declare a bloody war against nationalists to wipe them out from the political arena. A Hindu activist, Raju, in Karnataka was brutally hacked to death in broad day light by a group of suspected jihadists on March 13. On the next day, a group of CPM goons unleashed a ruthless attack on a peaceful march of BJP in which many people got severely injured and the condition of a young pracharak is critical. These incidents manifest the proverbial intolerance of the jihadist-Leftist groups which ideologically believe in and practise the annihilation of their opponents, whether it is class enemies or kafirs.
K Raju was a very popular Hindu activist who was a vigorous worker of VHP in Mysuru, Karnataka. He, who was actively engaged in a campaign against the illegal construction of mosque in a residential area, was brutally hacked to death in broad day light at the peaceful city of Mysuru on March 13. It is said that Raju was standing near a tea stall when five men hacked him to death with lethal weapons. Raju was involved in uniting the Hindus in various localities of Mysuru to create awareness on the illegal construction of a mosque. The Congress governments which would seize an opportunity to protest against deaths of anti-Hindus were surprisingly silent on the incident. Enraged over the Siddaramaiah Government's silence, a Mysuru bandh was called on March 14 which turned out to be near total with people protesting against the Hindu activists’ death.
Raju is said to have been working towards constructing of Ganesh Temple in the area. In his tweets, Amit Malviya had said, “It is believed Raju’s opening gates of a local Ganapathi Temple irked members of 'other' community! This modus operandi of hacking political opponents was thus far restricted to Kerala-Karnataka border, but was now shifting to central Karnataka.”
Mourning the loss of Raju, Mysuru MP Pratap Simha said that it was a sad day for him. On March 14, thousands of Mysureans came out to streets to protest the murder. They also participated in the voluntary bandh downing shutters of the commercial establishments. The crowd started swelling during the funeral procession which showed the popularity enjoyed by Raju in his locality. The protestors also raised slogans against the State Government for its inefficiency in arresting the culprits.
BJP asked the state government to order a judicial probe into the killing of RSS activist Raju and set 48-hour deadline for the arrest of the culprits. The party also sought Rs 25 lakh compensation to the family members of Raju.
The reverberations of murder were heard elsewhere too. In Bengaluru, the RSS had organised a huge protest rally in heart of Bengaluru condemning the death on March 15. BJP leaders like R Ashok and S Muniraju—led a delegation to Governor stating the breakdown of law and order machinery in State. The RSS activists also wondered where the so called liberals and pseudo-secularists in condemning the death were. “Death is death irrespective of religion. However, for a few so called liberals in our country, only non-Hindu deaths get hyped up, while those from majority community have literally no value,” said a BJP leader.
Coming to Kerala from its neighbouring state, the assailant changed, from Jihadists to Communists, but the victim still remains unchanged, Hindu. The Communist Party seems to be spreading its killer designs from Northern Malabar (Kannur) to South. The latest attack took place by late evening of the March 14, 2016, in Kattayikkonam near the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram. Three RSS workers were seriously injured in CPM attacks. Among them Amal Krishnan PD, RSS Taluk Pracharak, is on ventilator with grave head injuries. CPM killer squads attacked RSS-BJP workers while the latter were agitating against the objectionable expansion of the city master plan which is going to result in large scale eviction of residents in the area. The communist goons did not spare even the former BJP president V Muraleedharan. He was also injured.
RSS-BJP workers were attacked by the CPM goons while the formers were returning from the capital city after staging a protest march against the very same master plan. The plan is for the expansion of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation into Kattayikkonam area, a stronghold of CPM. It is to be noted that Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation is ruled by CPM-led LDF with the largest number of members, sans an absolutely majority. BJP is the second largest party and Congress-led UDF was pushed to the slot of the miserable no: 3!

  • -New Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi

  • In 2012, Kirit Somaiya and Devendra Fadnavis (BJP leaders) filed a complaint accusing Chhagan Bhujbal a giving transferable development rights worth Rs 10,000 crore to Chamankar Builders and receiving generous kickbacks in return for the construction of buildings of Maharashtra Sadan in Mumbai and Delhi
  • In December 2014, the Maharashtra government gave nod for an open inquiry into the Maharashtra Sadan case
  • On June 17, 2015, the ED filed two FIRs under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against Chhagan Bhujbal, Pankaj Bhujbal and Sameer Bhujbal
  • Before filing the FIR, ACB searched 26 properties of Chhagan Bhujbal as part of its investigation into alleged irregularities in the award of a contract for projects in 2006. At that time Bhujbal was Deputy Chief Minister and PWD minister
  • On March 14, 2016, Chhagan Bhujbal was arrested by ED

CPM was not protesting much in the Kattayikkonam area against the master plan. In this context BJP has been alleging that a sort of Congress-CPM nexus is seen behind the project hence CPM conducts a low key protest. This scenario naturally results in the growing popularity of BJP in particular in that area. CPM felt the erosion of their strength, hence this Kannur model attack on RSS-BJP workers!
Critically injured Amal Krishnan, a B. Tech graduate, is fresh from the Engineering College; he hails from a Sangh family in Changanassery, Kottayam. His whole head was smashed in the most brutal manner. It is reported that a heavy metal tool was used for attacking Amal. The CPM criminals had switched the street lights off before implementing their sinister design. The RSS-BJP workers of that part of the state maintain that Amal was a promising pracharak; the whole state is praying for saving his life. Two other workers were stabbed in the dark. They are also in critical state. “The blood splashed from the head of young, Amal Krishna, has directly spilled on to the face of CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan. It will definitely put an end to his hope to become the Chief Minister of Kerala,” RSS State Joint General Secretary (Prant Saha Karyavah) M Radhakrishnan said.
It looks like CPM is gradually moving their violent methods to southern states from Kannur, their strong hold. Last month they had killed an RSS worker Sujith Kumar, in Kannur District, in front of his parents at home. After hardly 10 days, they mercilessly attacked another worker Biju while taking the school kids to school, the only breadwinning job for his whole family. CPM killers murdered a Congress worker, on March 15 in Harippadu, the very assembly constituency of the state home minister Ramesh Chennithala.
BJP national secretary H Raja, while addressing a protest march in Thiruvananthapuram, alleged that CPM is the Indian version of ISIS. “The CPI (M) has lost its ideological relevance in the present political scenario and is indulging in violence to capture power in Kerala through undemocratic means”, BJP State President Kummanam Rajasekharan said.
Reading between the lines, the recent attacks having taken place in Kerala and Karnataka were maneuvered by the spawns of the red-jihadist ideology which are hands in glove in the war against the nation and patriotic elements in the country. Alarmed by the eroding political support, all the anti-BJP parties are resorting to the violent politics. The deafening silence of media over the increasing atrocities against Hindus and pro-Hindu organisations also raises serious questions and grave concerns. The media persons and intellectuals, who conveniently raise the ‘bogey of intolerance’, now seem to be blissfully unaware of what is happening around. It is a stark warning about the looming deleterious impacts on the social harmony in the rest of the country too.
