(Organiser, 14.6.2015 );This refers to the speech by Shri Mohan Bhagwat on June 4th 2015, at Nagpur, while addressing the valedictory function of RSS Training Camp. He has  made special stress, that “Hindu society must stand up by accepting brotherhood and humanity as culture.”RSS is the only organisation in Bharat, which has “Unity of all Hindus” with “Hindu Rashtra” as its main goal. It was with this aim , that BJP / Jan Sangh was created as a political wing of the RSS. With the grace of God and dedication of workers, BJP was able to win the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, but one should not feel overwhelmed , as the real goal is far away.

Making Village,  A Pilgrimage

(Organiser, 28.6.2015 ); I had the occasion to read the issue of Organiser dated June 28, 2015 which is on village development.Kudos to the entire team of Organiser for taking out such a lovely issue. I feel that every State  should consider about the self sufficient economy of its villages. Here lies Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s integral humanism. Just by creating smart cities we will not be able to stop the influx of village population to cities which ultimately create slums in the cities. While creating smart cities an equal attention is necessary for the village development which can stop the  flow of village population to the cities. What is necessary is the employment generation in the village itself.I feel that the Government of India under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi should constitute the Niti Aayog with persons who have knowledge and experience about Indian economy and have a swadeshi mind set.

Old Drama

This refers to the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi outreach to Delhi’s sanitation workers, who had been on strike because they hadn’t been paid their salaries. Mr Gandhi hopes that by becoming the poster boy of every grievance that comes up , he can win back power for his party. But the public has seen enough of his political drama  and is not impressed. Mr Gandhi’s tricks are growing old. He must realise that by these type of political stunts he can neither solve anybody’s problems nor get any political mileage. Perhaps he gets happy to see the crowd standing before him and admiring his stupidity.

Best out of Waste

(Organiser, 28.6.2015 ) ; Apropos to the article ‘Best out of Waste’ by Aniket Raja in Organiser. Le Corbusier gave Chandigarh its form and shape but it was Nek Chand who imbued the city with a soul through his iconic Rock Garden. The Swiss-French architect, who built India’s first planned city, created a tightly regimented urban space, marked by measured grids, super–grids and imposing geometric structures. But it was an Indian, Nek Chand , who broke out of the European’s almost authoritarian urban planning scheme to put a human element into the metropolis. Nek Chand unlike Le Corbusier, was neither a trained architect nor a trained artist—he just followed his heart. The city administration called for a day mourning to mark Nek Chand’s passing. But if it really wants to honour and promote his legacy, it should do a better job of maintaining the Rock Garden. After all the creator has left behind not just a dazzling assortment of figures and figurines crafted out of waste and what not. The Rock Garden is a symbol of Indianness.
