In the Missing Memory of ‘A Treasure’

Affectionately known as ‘Rayaru’, Shri MC Satyanarayan Ji, former Sanghachalak of Hindu Swayam-sevak Sangh (HSS)—United Kingdom took his last breathe at the age of 90 in Bengaluru on May 12.
Shri MC Satyanarayan ji, also known as Sattiji and was lovingly called as ‘Rayaru’ by Bengaluru swayamsevaks, passed away at the age of 90 years. He was born in Mysuru in 1925 and became swayamsevak there. He contributed to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) work for many years in Mysuru and Bengaluru before moving to United Kingdom in 1960's where he contined his association with the HSS.
He was a pillar, guide and inspirer of Sangh work in UK for more than three decades. Throughout his life, he gave priority to Sangh work including Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV); NKV; Proudh Shivir; Virat Hindu Sangam (1984); Virat Hindu Sammelan (1989).
His cremation took place on May 12, 2015 and was attended by senior RSS Adhikarees of Karnataka viz Shri Jaydeo, Chandrashekhar Bhandari and many others.
He is survived by his daughter, son-in-law and a grandson. Shri Dattatreya Hosabale ji, Sah Sarkaryavaha of RSS in his condolence message said that Shri Sartyanarayan ji has contributed immensely towards building Sangh work both in Bengaluru as well as in UK. He worked for Sangh incessantly for decades. Being a man of few words he was a very calm and composed person but steeled with determination. He will be long cherished by future generations as an
inspiration.
HSS (UK) has also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the near and dear ones of late Satti ji. n
