In order to know the changing taste of the and to understand them better, a conference of ‘Organiser;’ and ‘Panchjanya’ readers conference was organised in Bhubaneshwar on November 23. RSS Utkal Prant Prachara Pramukh Shri Ravi Narayan Panda was the chief guest. Senior educationist Dr Dambarudhar Patnaik was the chief speaker. More than 120 readers attended the conference. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Panda described both the news magazines as light house for the society and said the content carried by both the magazines is not only educative but also help people making opinion on different issues. Dr Patnaik termed the readers greater than speakers. He underlined the role of media in making the society healthy in different ways. Puri Vibhag Sanghachalak Shri Samir Mohanti presided over the conference. Shri Shivnarayan Singh, editor of ‘Rashtradeep’ conducted the proceedings. On this occasion Shri Dilip Kumar Pati was felicitated for his outstanding work in distribution of both the weeklies.

Digital India is one of the favourite projects of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The technique that he has adopted to make this dream a reality is cloud computing, which is cheaper and provides high capacity to store huge data. A national workshop was organised at Sharda University, Nodia to understand and discuss different aspects of the Digital India Campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, IT expert and Associate professor of School of Business Studies Dr Nishakant Ojha said Cloud Computing is an internet based process. He said Google Apps is the best example of Cloud Computing. Since its utility is multipurpose and is cheaper the future belongs to cloud computing.
Deputy Director of the IT and Telecommunication Department Dr Satendra Kumar Jain, Joint Wireless Advisor Dr SM Sharma, President of Reliance Communication Ltd CS Rao, Dean of Sharda University School of Business Studies Prof Mukesh Chaturvedi and and Practice Head of IDC and Cloud Computing Cherian Mathew apprised the participants on various aspects of Cloud Computing.
A newspaper has to spend crores of rupees for data storage, while this work can be done in just a thousand though Cloud Computing. He said this technique will help even the people sitting in remote and inaccessible areas to avail costly services like consulting doctors etc. Dr Jain said the government is very serious to Cloud Computing and its use in the country will be a revolution in telecommunication and technology. —Surender Singhal
