Good samskars can only curb addiction —Mohan Bhagwat?

“The problem of environment degradation and addiction can be arrested only by imparting good samskars and inculcating good values among children. But it will prove hugely costly to continue waiting for the government to introduce the value based education.
Need of the hour is that we should ourselves think of it,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while speaking at a function organised in Amritsar on September 26. The function was organised by Madhavrao Mule Trust.
Shri Bhagwat further said earlier story telling was the medium to impart good samskars to the children. But today that tradition has weakened drastically and its consequences are before all of us. “We need to teach our children right from the childhood how to protect the environment and how to stay away from any kind of addiction. We all know that children are future of the country and before shaping the future of the country we have to impart good samskars to our children,” Shri Bhagwat added.
He said Madhav Rao Muleji dedicated his life for the nation because he loved both the country and the countrymen. Shri Bhagwat also congratulated the nation on the success of Mangalyan and said the scientists have made the country proud.
Presiding over the function Shri Rajkumar Gupta narrated some reminiscences related to the life of Madhavrao Muleji. He told how he rescued lakhs of Hindus from Rawalpindi and Lahore during the Partition and provided the relief when they came to India.
National convener of Hindu Jagran Manch Shri Ashok Prabhakr, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Rameshwar, Prant Pracharak Shri Kishorkant, Sah Prant Pracharak Shri Pramod Kumar, were also present on the occasion.
