State: BJP All Set to Punish False Deeds

Intro: People voted for Bharatiya Janta Party because they wanted to punish the Congress government for its deeds. Now the BJP government has taken a important step towards its mission for the people of the country

The BJP has formed a nine-member committee, headed by Ambala Cantt MLA Anil Vij for preparing charge sheet against irregularities and false deeds of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government during ten years of its rule. The Committee had its first sitting at party office at Panchkula on June 24. The party has also asked Anil Vij to lead the committee to prepare a list of alleged acts of omission and commission of Hooda government.

$img_titleThe decision of not to disclose the various issues and factors on which the charge sheet would be prepared is of the party’s as it is an internal matter. It will be disclosed once the allegations are proved with consolidated proofs. Everyone will get to know about it then.”

  — Dr Jagdish Mukhi,
Senior BJP Leader & Incharge, Haryana

The decision was taken during the two-day meeting of state BJP’s working committee which concluded at Kurukshetra on June 22. The meeting was attended by party’s senior leaders including Jagdish Mukhi, Capt Abhimanyu, party MPs from the state, including those from Ambala and Kurukshetra, besides state BJP president, Ram Bilas Sharma. The meeting had been convened to draw strategy ahead of the Assembly polls in Haryana, which are due in October this year.

In the meeting on June 24, the party finalised the modalities to prepare the charge sheet. The discussion also included the details of land scamps, corruption in Change of Land Use (CLUs), land acquisition, Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The party has also decided that nexus between builders and the government machinery would be panel's main focus including the allegations of corruption in government recruitments in all departments would also be inquired into.

The meeting would highlight amassing of ill-gotten wealth and properties by the Congress leaders during the past ten years, adding the leaders who have already left the Congress will also not be able to escape the scrutiny. It is also reported that the party will also prepare a website, where people can come out with details of alleged acts of omission and commission by the Congress government and also give their feedback.
Giving details, Vij said that the committee will ask residents and organisations to give details of acts of corruption with supporting documents to help the committee in preparing a charge sheet, adding that if informers would desire their identity would not be disclosed. When asked about the time frame, he said at this stage he couldn't set a time frame, but the committee would work vigorously and analyse the data with all sincerity.
It has been decided that the findings of the committee would be presented before the voters during the assembly elections instead of submitting it to the governor. In its internal meeting the party reviewed the political scenario in Haryana post Lok Sabha polls. When asked if any decision was taken on whether to continue or break the alliance with Kuldeep Bishnoi led Haryana Janhit Congress, Jain said no decision in this regard has been taken.
