Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) added another feather to its cap by organising National Ulema Conference in New Delhi on April 3, 2014. Patron of the MRM Indresh Kumar played a key role in this and gave satisfactory replies to the queries raised by the participating Ulemas (the plural of alim, Arabic for “man of knowledge,” teacher or authority). A total of 327 Ulemas from all over the country participated in the program. BJP’s National Organizing Secretary Ram Lal, Dr JK Jain, BJP Minority Morcha President Abdul Rasheed Ansari, Jamat ul-Ulema-e Hind Secretary Maulana Suhail Qasmi and others were prominently present on the occasion.

What did Muslims gain from non-BJP political parties?

Since Independence, Muslims are voting for the so-called secular parties like the Congress, socialists, BSP, NCP and JDU, and having gained nothing are still living in poverty, and paucity. During elections these parties make fake promise, but in reality they have failed to provide them even the basic requirements of security and progress.

Why the Muslims should vote for BJP?

Due to the consistent propaganda by the secular parties, Muslims presumes that BJP is their enemy. But in reality, it is the opposite. During the NDA rule the Central Government headed by Atal Behari Vajpayee implemented many schemes for the welfare and progress of the Muslims without any discrimination.

The NDA government started flights to Haj from 14 places for the benefit of Muslim pilgrims; were the first to survey the Wakf properties in the country and take decisive steps for their management; constituted Madarsa Boards in BJP ruled states to improve the standard of education; Vajpayeeji launched Samjhauta Express and Delhi-Lahore Bus service to strengthen bilateral relations with Pakistan; BJP governments in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat gave tickets to over 300 Muslim candidates and got them elected at Nagar Palika and Panchayat levels and  MP  government introduced interest-free loan scheme to benefit the minorities.

Are Muslims afraid of RSS’ influence on BJP?

RSS is a nationalist organisation whose priority has been character-building and nation-building, and to make India a strong and prosperous nation. It has helped BJP in national reconstruction mission and does not differentiate between the citizens of India on the basis of religion, caste, creed or color. Till date, they never have been implicated in any violent act or riot against Muslims. Hence, instilling RSS fear among Muslims is the conspiracy of the pseudo-secular parties to mislead the Muslims.

Why are BJP and RSS opposed to reservations for Muslims?

In 1947-49, when Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar introduced reservation for backward castes and classes and asked the Muslims to take benefit of the same, then Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Maulana Hiffajjur Rehman  had rejected the proposal saying that Islam does not permit the presence of caste or class as no one is higher or lower in Islam. How can the BJP or RSS be blamed for it, now? BJP believes in addition to the reservation benefits, the Muslim community must be given the benefit of income from wakf properties-which has been legally denied to them by the Congress.

Muslims believe that Narendra Modi is solely responsible for Gujarat riots.

Congress conducted in-depth inquiry of Gujarat riots through various agencies including by a Special Investigation Team appointed by the Supreme Court of India. In lack of evidence, the SC has given a clean chit to Narendra Modi. On the contrary, Congress and SP leaders have been implicated for instigating riots against Sikhs in 1984 and against Muslims in 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots. Will Muslims still consider Congress, SP and BSP and other secular parties?

What is the guarantee, if Modi become PM there won’t be any injustice against Muslims?

Modi has time and again said that in the wake of BJP assuming power at the Centre, they would work for the welfare of 125 crore Indians without discriminating them in the name of religion, caste, creed or color, and this figure include Muslims too.

What should the Muslims do in 2014 general elections?

This election barring BJP no other party has a powerful and strong contender like Modi for the PM’s post. Under his leadership, India can scale heights, as his agenda is to channelise systems to reduce corruption and guarantee everyone education, progress and health. It is therefore, the need of the hour for the Muslims, who have given 60 years to other parties to play a very crucial and important role in BJP’s Misson 272+ and give  60 months to BJP.

Logo of Janam TV launched in Cochin

First step towards nationalist presence in electronic media

Kochi witnessed a humble beginning of nationalist presence in the realm of electronic media in Malayalam. Superstar of Malayalam filmdom and national award laureate Suresh Gopi recently released the logo of Janam TV  in Kerala. Janam is a Malayalam TV channel promoted by Hindu-minded nationalist Indians. Even though the initiative was taken by overseas Indians, the Keralites living back home joined the ambitious project in full swing.

The promoters have declared that channel would be aired in October, 2014.

Addressing a 2,000 strong audience who assembled to witness the auspicious launching of the logo, the Bharathiya Vichara Kendram director and Vivekananda Kendra president P Parameshwaran said that the new channel would not be controlled by any organisation, but will be dedicated to the cause of nationalistic views which the other channels have been trying to sideline.

Noted film director Priyadarshan said the need of the era is a legitimate and reliable news media which is what we expect from Janam TV since most of the media is propagating negative and biased news. Malayalam super star Suresh Gopi wished the very best for Janam to bring its motto come true i.e. “Mass Power to The People”. He also wished Janam to be aware of the aim of those who wants to hide the truth.

Actor Devan, film maker Major Ravi, veteran film music director M. Jayachandran and RSS Pranth Sanghachalak PEB Menon also spoke on the occasion. All speakers agreed on one point, that is, nationalist and Hindutva forces are always sidelined by the electronic media and it always make it a point to insult Hindutva whenever it gets a chance. All of them referred to the recent attempt of character assassination of Amrithanan-damayi Devi on the basis of a venomous book authoured by a European lady and the contemporary controversies triggered by a section of the electronic media concerning the treasure possessed by Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthauram.

$img_titleSeveral cultural leaders and prominent citizens of Kochi were present along with the Sangh Parivar workers from all over Kerala to have a glimpse of the auspicious occasion. The programme was organised in Bhaska-reeyam Convention Centre run by Madhava Nivas, the Kerala Pranth Karyalaya of RSS.

P Vishwaroopan, CEO of Janam TV presided over the function.

Over six lakh people join Ramnavami and Hanuman Jayanti processions in Hyderabad

$img_titleThe air of Hyderabad seems to be changing. Last year three lakh people joined Sri Ramnavami procession, but this year about six lakh joined the same event. Interesting part of it is that 80 per cent of the participants were youth who are generally believed to be getting away from their roots. Whether it is the impact of the hate speeches delivered by the likes of Akbaruddhin Owaisi who said if the police are withdrawn for just 15 minutes the Muslims would show their strength, the fact is that all streets of Hyderabad on April 8 were packed with the devotees.

The grand procession commenced from Rani Avantibai Bhavan at Ganagabowli in Doolpet and went through with great devotional fervour and active participation. The procession beginning at 11.00 am from historical Mahankaleswar Temple passed through Appar Doolpet, Purnanapul Chowrastha, Jummairat Bazar, Chudi Bazar, Chatri, Begum Bazar, Siddi Ambar Bazar, Gowliguda, Kothi and continued up to Hanuman Vyayamsala of Sultan Bazar. All through the route, lakhs of devotees chanted the name of Sri Ram resulting in the reverberation of this sound in all the streets.

During the procession, large size portrait of Sri Ram and other statues which includes that of Shivaji Maharaj, Lakshman, Sita appeared as  the main attraction.

Representative of Cow Protection Committee and Mangalhat BJP Corporator Shri Raja Singh under whose leadership the event took place, sang several songs at many places and gave speechs on protection of Hindu Dharma. All the places where the procession went through turned saffron. Much before the procession began,   youth from different places in the city reached Doolpet holding saffron flags in their hands and chanting Jai Sri Ram.

Equally reverberating event that left deep impact on the people’s mind was Hanuman Jayanti celebrated on April 14. VHP general secretary Shri Champat Rai addressed the gathering. Public meeting was conducted at Imperial Gardens. Earlier, Shri Raghavulu said despite the efforts by  the British for 200 years to disrupt unity among Hindus by creating caste, religious, language and regional differences, it did not work. He said the whole country responds in a similar manner to the motherland, festivals of the country and all Gods are one for the people of Bharat. Thus Bharat is considered as the Jagat Guru of the world.

Shri MVR Sastry, editor of Andhra Bhoomi, a Telugu daily, said time has come for Hindus to unite once again. He said everyone should acquire the strength of powerful and wise Hanuman.  He further said Hindus do not know their strength and though they are 80 per cent of the population, since they are divided on caste, group and regional lines, those numbering only 13.8 per cent of the population are becoming majority and becoming big vote-banks.

Due to this Governments are bowing to them and conceding to their demands. During 1880, a  big cow protection movement took place and it is time for such a spirit of movement to once again start, he exhorted. He  emphasised that power should  be in the hands of the Hindus and   for achieving this they should follow the foot steps of inspiring leaders like Narendra Modi.
