(Organiser, 15.12.2013); Apropos of the article ‘Government formed with Muslim support always ignore them’ in Organiser, by Surendra Singhal. I have read his interview, and I find that Maulana Madani and other Muslim dharma gurus only think of Muslims unlike Hindu dharma gurus who think and preach manav dharma i.e. the welfare of al human beings. As such Muslim’s support to political parties should be unconditional for the development of the country and betterment of all. Here Maulana Madani talks of the plight of poverty stricken Muslims. But who is responsible for this? It is definitely a matter to introspect. At the time of Partition population of Muslims who preferred to remain in this country was 3.5 crore, and now they are 20 crore (about six times increase). But Hindus who were 30 crore, are now 98 crore (about 3.25 times increase). This happened because Muslims did not follow the national welfare scheme of ‘Family Planning’ on religious ground. This still continues. Had they followed family planning their living condition would have been as better as of Hindus. So the matter should be seriously looked within by the Muslims. Moreover Maulana Madani has tried to voice his complain against secular State Government for not keeping election time promises. The fact is it is impossible as it communalises the environment, some times causing communal riots for their unjust and never ending demands due to disproportionate population increase. Therefore Muslims must stop thinking themselves an aggrieved minority.

Dogmas, superstition and inhuman treatment of humans cannot be tolerated in the name of religion (Organiser, 24.11.2013); This refers to the article ‘Dogmas, superstition and inhuman treatment of humans cannot be tolerated in the name of religion’ in Organiser. In the article, Justice KG Balakrishnan, talks about the duties and obligations towards the Dalits, Adivasis, Minorities (i.e. Muslims) and the poor. He has bracketed Muslims with the Dalits and Adivasis, which is highly objectionable, even as per Dr Ambedkar’s line of thinking. This is very clear form his book Pakistan or The Partition of India. While pleading for the Partition of India into Muslim India (i.e. Pakistan) and Hindu India, he always counted Dalits and Adivasis with the Hindus (see p-364). Infact Dr BR Ambedkar had a grouse against the caste Hindus, and writes on page 352 of his book, that “ Has not governing class of the Hindus, which controls Hindu politics, shown more regard for safeguarding the rights and interest of Musalmans, than they have for safeguarding the rights and interests of the Shudras and the Untouchables? Is not Mr Gandhi is determined to oppose any political concession to the untouchables, ready to sign a blank cheque in favour of the Muslims? Indeed, the Hindu governing class seems to be more ready to share power with Muslims, than it is to share with the Shudras and untouchables.” The latest and the present example is, that Hindus have a grudge against reservations for the Scheduled Castes, but rarely speak against reservation for Muslims and special packages and benefits for Muslims being given to them.

Juveniles should be treated on the same footing India is not a safe place for women anymore. The present rape laws should be amended. Minors (juveniles) should be given the same punishment as those of adults. There shouldn’t be any differences between juveniles and adults. After all, both of them have committed the same crime by ruining the life of a woman. Its high time women are not treated like sex toys but are respected and treated with dignity. After all, it is a woman who has given birth to a man. Men should realise this. A rapist is just like a terrorist who terrorises women. He is a frustrated human being — a psycho! Terrorists target the country, while rapists target women who only wants to fulfil their sexual desires all the time.

Waiting for NaMo tsunami We Bharatiyas can now find a reason for hope after seeing the oucome of the recently held Assembly elections. Our plea and prayer has not gone in vain. The sliding in trust and confidence in the present Congress Government and the nonchalant arrogance of Sheila Dikshit has translated into a huge and humiliating loss of seats for the Prince the puppet, and Madam. It was expected. It has happened. A bleak prospect indeed for the Congress in the coming 2014 elections. But this should not give way to complacency in the BJP camp. They have to work doubly hard to be a winner always. The time has come for the BJP after a long wait and they should make full use of this opportunity to restore the trust and confidence of Bharatiyas who are struggling to make both ends meet, inflation, corruption and fear of internal and external security. Now it is a Narendra Modi wave. 2014 will be a NaMo tsunami to lift the country out of this Congress morass.

Cauvery water sharing Tamil Nadu has asked Karnataka to release 26tmcft of Cauvery river water from KRS Reservoir, despite Karnataka having fulfilled the requirements of the final verdict of Cauvery Tribunal of 192 tmcft from KRS Reservoir during this current year. A total 192tmcft of water was released during monsoon period, but final verdict of Cauvery Tribunal had given directives to Karnataka to release water proportionately during various period of the year. This is something disgusting and highly objectionable. Karnataka cannot impound water for Tamil Nadu during the monsoon period and go on releasing water throughout the year, since KRS Reservoir which is being brought up is not meant for this purpose. Tamil Nadu has to make its own arrangements to store water, during monsoon released by Karnataka. Whenever there is good rainfall, both the states should make prior arrangements of their own to store the needful water by building enough reservoirs and not letting it go waste in the sea.
