Durga Vahini and Bajrang Dal activists join the celebration

This year, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini activists celebrated Rakshabandhan with the Hindus who fled from Pakistan and are now staying in New Delhi for some time. Durga Vahini activists tied the rakhi to the Pakistani brothers while the Bajrang Dal activists got the rakhis tied from the sisters from Pakistan on August 20. The activists of both the organisations assured full protection to the Pakistani Hindus in India. They also said the Hindus living in any part of the world will also be protected.

The VHP, Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini activists were led by VHP zonal organising secretary Shri Karuna Prakash. Durga Vahini Delhi Prant convener Smt Sanjana Chaudhary also joined the team. Indraprasthan Vishwa Hindu Parishad Media Pramukh Shri Vinod Bansal said many Pakistani Hindus celebrated Rakshabandhan for the first time and it was an emotional moment for them. They said they were not allowed to observe majority of the Hindu festivals in Pakistan. Some were so happy that they danced on the occasion.
