Sanskar Bharati national executive meet in Jalaun, UP

Ayodhya Prasad Gupta ‘Kumud’

SANSKAR Bharati, the leading organisation dedicated to the promotion of Indian art and literature, has formulated a three years action plan to bring a qualitative change in the organisational activities. During this span, special focus will be made to enhance the quality of artists of all eight art forms on which the Sanskar Bharati has focused. The action plan involves different activities for different art forms. The action plan was finalised at the three days national executive committee meeting held at Jalaun under Urai district of Uttar Pradesh from April 13 to 15.

RSS Sahsarkaravah Dr Krishna Gopal and senior Pracharak  Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni guided the workers at the meeting. All senior leaders of the Sanskar Bharati including founder member Shri Yogendraji, former president and noted Marathi film director Shri Rajdutt, Shri Bankelal Gaur, Shri Ganesh Pant Rode, PR Krishnamurti, Shri Amirchand, Shri Kamtanath Vaishampayan, Dr Ravindra Bharati, Shri Ravidev, Shri Chandrakant Gharote, Dr Veena Srivastava, Madhvi Kulkarni, etc. were present at the meeting. Apart from it, about 100 delegates from different parts of the country attended the meeting.

Addressing the delegates, Dr Krishna Gopal said during the last one thousand years many Indian art forms were destroyed by the invaders, libraries were burnt, idols and temples were ruined, but the feeling of art still survives among us. He called upon the artists to spread the original cultural and Vedic knowledge to the masses and impart good samskars to the younger generation to create a society based on an age old and time tested Indian values of life.

Margdarshak of Sanskar Bharati Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni called upon the activists to expand the work in coming three years and make it more effective. Start working on the action plan, as an architect first makes the design of the building and then starts working in different phases to complete it, he said. Mentioning the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he stressed the need to conduct various activities based on his works. He also said to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda to all nooks and corner of the country.  He emphasised on preparing small duration dramas on the life and work of Swamiji like the life of Sri Ram and Sri Krishna are staged through Ramlilas and Krishnalilas.

Internationally fame artist and national president of the Sanskar Bharati Shri Vasudev Kamath said there are 1,750 units of the organisation all over the country and over 18,000 artists representing different art forms are associated with it today. He said the organisational work is expanding in all the states. He pointed out that many top artists of the country have joined the organisation and are working to promote the Indian arts.

Shri Kamath said the cultural pollution being spread through television channels is leading the nation to wrong direction and in this situation the younger generation needs to be given a proper direction. He said in coming five years the focus of all organistaional activities should be on improving the qualities of work and making all the performances effective. He further said that to make the work effective a curriculum has been designed to impart training to all national committee members, State general secretaries, organising secretaries, etc.
