Sarsanghachalak in Nashik

“HINDUTVA is the soul of this country. The nation will rise with awakening of this soul and not just by trying to copy others,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while speaking at a function in Nashik on April 18. Prant Sanghachalak Shri Dada Sahane, Nashik Zilla Sanghachalak Shri Nana Salunke and Nashik Nagar Sanghachalak Shri Vijay Kadam were also present. Shri Vijay Kadam briefed the audience about various sewa activities going on in Nashik region by Jankalyan Blood Bank, Shankaracharya Nyas, Shri Guruji Rugnalaya and a hostel run for students from Meghalaya.

He said Hindutva is the binding force that brings together all the diverse factors in the society. Anybody who wants to strengthen this force would need a vast network of selfless workers in every nook and corner of this country. Of workers who would have a good standing in the society due to their dedication towards the society. Only such selfless volunteers would be able to create an environment that will brush aside all the differences and unite the society to take on any of the adversities. And the RSS has been doing this all along its existence.

Shri Bhagwat also said the RSS firmly believes that only right thinking; united people can help the nation to rise. And that is why the RSS is uniting Hindus. If the people are not united, not ready, a good leader, a slogan, a strategy, a party, an incarnation, a government or a thought are all of little use. They have a power to change the fate of the nation only when the society is united. So, we need a strong, united society that is awakened to its true identity. Such an awakened society then needs to be moulded to lead its life in truest selfless sense, with honesty and with a complete dedication to lead oneself in the service of the society. This needs to be done every day. And with years of experience RSS has devised the mechanism to precisely do this.

“Our society has some shortcomings and all the great men who tried to uplift the nation have concluded that unless and until we could do away with these shortcomings, the nation won’t rise to the state of its pristine glory,” Shri Bhagwat said adding that the uniqueness of the RSS is that it has devised a mechanism to do what all great men of our society always longed to be done. Every day shakha for one hour is the only solution. Very simple programmes of the shakha can unite the society since they have the capacity to do away with all the shortcomings of the society. RSS has effectively demonstrated this in past 87 years. The dedication and hard work of all these years has gained the trust of the society, he said. He also made a mention of over a lakh of social service projects run by the RSS across the country.
