Weak government sacrificing Bharat’s safety and self respect (Organiser, 27.1.2013); This is with reference to the article ‘Weak government sacrificing Bharat’s safety and self respect’ by Dr Pravin Togadia in the Republic Day Special issue of Organiser. At the outset I would congratulate Organiser for giving its readers a neatly published booklet type weekly with full of facts. The entire text of the article, word by word, is accurate and mirrors as to how our present government works for our enemy Pakistan and totally disowns its own nation and its military personnel. Without any provocation or declared war Pakistani soldiers violated the Line of Control (LoC) and simply killed two jawans, took away their heads as trophy of victory, the way animal hunters behave and our government stood just like a spectator, maintaining a grave silence. Nothing was done to revenge this insult. Rather UPA was happy for having sacrificed two jawans on the alter of Islamic vote-bank. What a shame on UPA and all its allies. Infact the government is busy in pampering our enemy Pakistan by giving it the status of MFN (Most Favoured Nation) and indulging in meaningless peace talks, improving trade relations, cultural exchanges, most shameful of all is to allow Pakistani bank to open their branches in India and do business in India. This is just selling India bit by bit to outsiders. This is violation of all human ethics. We are fully aware that more than 20,000 army jawans including police, CID, homeguards, etc have been brutally killed by Pakistan trained terrorists. Our government instead of admiring the gallantry and sacrifices of our brave jawans, demoralised them by filing cases of violation of Human Rights on them and giving business loans and pension to the terrorists and their family members. Can there be anything worse than this?

Introspection and reconciliation Mass leaders are hard to find in any party. It takes decades of hard work and devotion to become a mass leader and it takes no time to nip in bud of such a leader. Nobody is immune from shortcomings. But because of ego or ambition armchair leaders often let down such leaders. Armchair leaders should get rid of selfishness and arrogance. In fact they should follow the footsteps of Shri Narendra Modi who is a mass leader and regards Bharat as his mother. Therefore whatever steps he takes he keeps in mind the welfare of the citizens of Bharat. Writers like Gautam Mukherjee is of the opinion that BJP has failed to attract minorities to its fold. Has Congress succeeded to attract Muslims to its fold inspite of giving them huge concessions.

Anti-national antics of UPA As per news in the press Anand Sharma, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry said at Mandi (Himachal) that “people of Team Anna and Baba Ramdev represent the same separatist face of RSS-BJP mindset, and the Congress knows how to deal with them”. Further he said that “like BJP, Team Anna and Ramdev are double faced and represented the same mindset, that killed the Father of the Nation”. Firstly, this poisonous statement amounts to ‘contempt of court’, because the court had exonerated RSS of having any hand in the killing of Gandhiji. Secondly, calling Gandhiji as “Father of the Nation” is an insult to our ancient nation, which is millions of years old. Gandhiji forced the government of India to pay 55 core of rupees to Pakistan, which had invaded Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress government should have arrested Gandhiji and put him in jail for his anti-national activities. Since the Nehru-Patel government failed to perform its duty to punish Gandhiji, there was extreme resentment in the mind of Godse, who killed Gandhiji. How have RSS or BJP come into picture? Similarly, Team Anna and Baba Ramdev are extremely hurt by the anti-national misdeeds by the Congress, and have started their own campaign.

UPA minister afflicted with foot-in-the mouth disease As red is to bull, so saffron is to Congress and its allies who themselves are green blind. Since ancient times saffron has been the colour of Bharatvarsha which advocates Shanti Pramo Dharma. A single isolated individual instance of violence cannot be dubbed as ‘Hindu Saffron terror’, which was coined by former Home Minister PC Chidambaram. A Home Minister is expected to be very sober and reserved person but in UPA government they are just the opposite. Even the present Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde speak irrelevant and then eats back his own words. Once in the Parliament he passed unsavoury remark related to heinous gang rape protestors “ that every one shall forget after a few days “ and then turned it to be a big joke. Then in another instance he had to apologise to a lady Member of the Parliament in the Rajya Sabha for his remarks relating to cinema acting and the Parliament proceedings. At present he has raised a bogey of Hindu terrorism. This tantamounts to blaming the whole Hindu community and their religion. Under these circumstances he does not qualify to be the Home Minister of such a vast country which is the biggest democracy of the world.

Seer of Pejawar Mutt In wake of the seer of Pejawar Mutt supporting the cow activists of Karnataka in pursuance of the assent of Karnataka Cow Bill, the Governor of Karnataka has made an comment and criticised that a head of any religious organisation should not get involved in any political activity. We wish to inform the Governor of Karnataka that this movement is not a political activity but an developmental activity of our country. And any seer can support the interests of the public resulting in the progress of the country. Instead we find that the Governor of Karnataka is riddled in the petty politics of political party, acting as an agent of UPA government, and playing hide and seek with BJP led Karnataka Government in providing assent to the Karnataka Cow Bill. It is because of these type of people that our country is facing hurdles in developments. Already twice the Bill has been sent back by the Central Government and perhaps this will be the third time. Hence, we anticipate and hope that Central Government will provide assent to the Karnataka Cow Bill without any further delay and hampering any development works of the State.
