ACCORDING to Inquilab {October 17, 2012}, the claim of a Roman Catholic cardinal has caused disturbance in Vatican City that looking at the speed of the growth of Muslim population in Europe, there is every possibility that very soon they will be the majority community in Europe. The Ghana-based cardinal uploaded a video on YouTube to support his argument. This was also displayed in the conference of Bishops from all across the world. He claimed that at present the population of Muslims is 1.75 billion, which will help increasing 35 per cent population of Muslims by 2030 making it to over 2.5 billion, while population of Christians is 2 billion across the world. He claimed that Muslim population in European countries is increasing very fast. In the next 45 years France will become an Islamic country. He claimed that 1.75 per cent is the growth rate of Christians in France while the growth rate of Muslims is 8 per cent. A Muslim leader in Italy claimed that since we are the follower of the same God, there should not be any concern that whose population is growing fast and whose slow. Islamic religious leader in Italy said that we are the follower of the same Khuda therefore Christian must not be worried about Muslims. Muslims should continue with their expansionist plan of Islam.
