VHP patron Shri Ashok Singhal warned that any reckless decision taken on Sri Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya would lead to grave consequences. Commenting on the recent UP government’s move to acquire land next to the 70 acre land around Sri Ramjanmabhoomi for building an Islamic Culture Centre, Shri Singhal warned that the saints and Hindu society would never tolerate the construction of any Islamic structure within the cultural boundary of Ayodhya.
He alleged that Sonia Gandhi and Mulayam Singh Yadav appear to have ganged up towards this end and for it a retired Judge of Allahabad High Court has been engaged. “Regarding Sri Ram Janmabhoomi it is the view of all the saints that on the acquired 70-acre land only a Sri Ram temple would be built and the construction of no new mosque would take place within the cultural boundary of Ayodhya. From the labours being put in by the retired Judge it seems Mulayam Singh Yadav wants to build a mosque and an Islamic Cultural Centre on the said plot of land (where a saw machine stands today) adjoining the 70-acre acquired land of the Central Government. Islamic forces are compelling him to do so,” Shri Singhal said while talking to mediapersons in New Delhi. He also said that the pressure of jihadi forces in entire Uttar Pradesh is getting unbearable for Hindu society. (FOC)
