Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat in Alappuzha

RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat slammed the Central government over the poor policies regarding Bangaldeshi  infiltrators, which have posed a major security threat to the nation. He said people should be united to face challenges before the nation and an integrated effort is needed to resist all anti-national activities. Through self-motivation people should accept the social responsibilities. Common man has potentiality to bring social changes, he said.
Shri Bhagwat was addressing a Sanghik, Jagratha Sangamam, held as part of the concluding ceremony of the RSS district level leaders camp on September 23 at EMS Stadium at Alappuzha, Kerala.
Shri Bhagwat further said, “Inspired by life and message of Swami Vivekananda, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of the RSS, realised that if a nation is united, it can face all threats and challenges before it. Hence people should be united. RSS still believes that unity itself is panacea for social ailments. Hence our focus is to make a society, which stands tall by morals, characters and patriotism. RSS has been involved in making such man-making mechanism since its inception,” he added.
He also remembered the role of swayamsevaks in maintaining healthy traffic during the valedictory of Samarasata Sangam held at Nagawara, Bengaluru. The police congratulated RSS volunteers for controlling a crowd of  of 40,000 within 45minutes, which caused no disturbance to the public, the roads were cleared soon. “The incident showed the expression of social discipline by swayamsevaks learnt in the RSS shakas. Nation needs the citizens who are strongly patriotic, disciplined and committed to society,” he said.
“There have been reports of intrusion into Assam. Though the High Court and various agencies had alerted the State and the Centre about the matter, the governments did not act properly, that resulted in Assam riots. The governments should take action instead of just discussing the issues,” Shri Bhagwat said.
Alappuzha district Sanghachalak Shri N Krishna Pai presided over the function. Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Vannirajan, Kerala Prant Sanghachalak Shri PEB Menon, Akhil Bharatiya Seema Kalyan Manch Sah Pramukh Shri A Gopalakrishnan  and Alappuzha District Karyavah Shri S Jayakrishnan were also present on the occasion.
