Annaji: No need to form a new political party Let Anna Hazare lead anti-corruption forces like Jaya Prakash Narayan instead of starting a new political party.  The decision of team Anna Hazare to give up fast unto death demanding enacting of a strong Lokpal Bill is a correct decision.  Taking risk like fast unto death by the leader of the stature of Anna Hazare is neither in national interest nor a constitutionally permitted method.  But the decision to start a new political party appears to be not a correct and practicable decision for the reason that it will lead to fragmentation of political forces and parties who are against the present corrupt Government and weaken the movement started by Anna Hazare against corruption demanding immediate enacting of Lokpal Act.  Obviously, the decision of Anna Hazare to give up fast unto death has emboldened the Central Government not to bring Lokpal Bill even in the Monsoon Session of the Parliament. In my considered opinion, the appropriate method to be adopted by Anna Hazare together with the able assistance of Baba Ramdev is to unite all political forces who are against the present regime so as to bring about total revolution with the object of establishing corrupt free administration.  Therefore, forming of a new political party, which needs enormous financial resources as also human resources is an impracticable proposition for the reason that it is difficult to get the required enormous finances in a legitimate method and it is also difficult to get sufficient number of good people as all of  them are spread in different political parties and movements.  Therefore, Anna Hazare should form a forum of political forces who are against the present rampant corruption and unitedly lead them to participate in the 2014 general elections.  The history has recorded that Jaya Prakash Narayan united all the forces who were against Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, just two months before the general elections of 1977 and within such a short time, he secured remarkable success in the 1977 general elections and Shri Morarji Desai became the Prime Minister.  Had Morarji Desai Government continued for a period of five years, there would have been tremendous good result for the nation.  But unfortunately, a few individuals who were followers of Jaya Prakash Narayan betrayed the confidence reposed in them by Jaya Prakash Narayan and brought down Morarji Desai Government within two years, which was a national calamity.  Now therefore the appropriate thing for Anna Hazare with the aid of Baba Ramdev is to lead all political forces who are against the present corrupt Government and to face the 2014 general elections so that a united, corruption free Government comes into power at the Centre.  Therefore, Anna Hazare and his team members should reconsider their decision to start a new political party.

Dozens of examples have been given to show, how aggressive Muslims are to achieve their wrong demands and how the government run by the Congress bends before them. In contrast, it has been mentioned how mild the Hindus are even for their  genuine causes, and the Congress government  ignores the Hindus and does cruelty to Hindu saints and respected holy men and women. Of course, what has been said in the editorial are naked facts, and the  Hindus should learn. But the biggest historical wrong,  even bigger than all the wrongs put together, done against the Hindus, by Gandhi, Nehru, Congress leaders, is never mentioned by anybody. In fact Hindus feel afraid of talking about it. On August 15,  1947, India was Partitioned, with Pakistan as an exclusive homeland for the entire Muslim population of India, and the remaining truncated India, now called India, was meant to be homeland for the Hindus, including Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, etc. Now what is the factual position? Practically all the Hindus and Sikhs have been wiped off from Pakistan  and Banladesh where they were 25 per cent and 30 per cent respectively in 1947, in most cruel manner. About 40 lakh Hindus and Sikhs were slaughtered and lakhs of girls and women abducted, raped and sold. Hindus have forgotten all this, and those who remember, are afraid of telling this.  Let us see the situation  in India, the homeland for the Hindus. Muslims who were around 9 per cent in 1947, have doubled and increased to around 20 per cent. Now they  openly do mischief and attack Hindus in our homeland. Unless we cure the biggest wrong,  i.e. make India constitutionally a homeland for the Hindus-Sikhs-Buddhists, etc. just as Pakistan is the homeland  for the Muslims, we will never be able to solve our problems. This is our legitimate right, and we must achieve it, otherwise Hindus and India would be doomed for ever.

Strike: A self-defeating trade union technique (Organiser, 29.7.2012);  Shri MV Kamath’s article in Organiser titled , ‘Strike: A self-defeating trade union, technique’ is a thought provoking article. Actually it is the feudal approach of the government towards its employees which provokes  and compels the government  employees to go on strike with a very heavy heart and as a last resort. Is it not a fact that the parliamentarians  enhances own salaries, allowances and various other amenities without any discussion within five minutes and the petty, reasonable and justified demands of the government employees are kept  lingering for years together on the pretext of public interest. The  people’s  impression that according to courts, government employees have no right to strike, is not correct. If it would have  been so, there would have  been no provision in the Labour Law to serve the strike notice well in advance and try for conciliation and arbitration through the Labour Department. But it is also quite correct that strike as a weapon  should not be misused particularly by the government  employees because it hurts the general public very much. The government employees and the general public are complementary to each other. So they should always  bother for each other in their own interest. But how it can be made possible is the main dilemma. This can be made possible by only patriotic and responsible union of  the government employees through its disciplined cadre. In Japan, when the employees have to go on strike, they go on strike  in rotation without any  harm to their daily output and any inconvenience  to the society. In  contrast to communist unions, the patriotic  union, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) in  our country is striving  hard to achieve such a goal through their disciplined cadre. The national interest which includes the public interest is  foremost for them. Let us wait  and watch.

Sushma Swaraj, Ram Madhav condemn  Interlocutor’s Report (Organiser, 29.7.2012); Smt Sushma Swaraj has rightly said that the Interlocutor’s Report  on Jammu and Kashmir  is the language of the separatist. She is eually correct in criticising  the  “report by saying that the report calls the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK)  as  Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK). It is the same language which was used by Musharaff. It is also objectionable to call the State just Kashmir as its complete name is J&K. The report is an insult to the sacrifice made by Dr Syama Prasad Mookaerjee.” It is true that the Interlocutor’s Report has a marked tilt towards the Kashmir Valley. This is true otherwise  how is it that the interlocutors have shown such undue concern for those who instigated terrorism at the behest  of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence and introduced gun culture in the Valley. Crisis in Kashmir did not came because of extension of Union laws to the State after 1953 but because New Delhi’s  inability to proceed firmly against those elements who under instructions from  across the border wanted to create an order of Nizam-e-Mustafa in the State to wear it away from  India.  The report seem to have deliberately ignored the State of Jammu & Kashmir as a whole including Pakistan occupied Kashmir, remains an integral part of India, which  fact has been even acknowledged by our  Parliament in a resolution. The report  should be forthwith rejected.

Sri Krishna’s message  Though  we celebrate Janmashtami  year after, we hardly act on the message of Sri Krishna, “Leave aside all religious rituals and seek refuge only is supreme self.” This indeed is a clarion  call to humanity at large and  thus the occasion could be celebrated by all sincere seekers for  the synthesis of all religions. Predominantly he taught yoga, the art of right action  and attainment of equanimity which paves  the way for union with the supreme self through  selfless service, divine wisdom intense devotion  or certain psychological practices. God  bless the voters of India It is reported that Sonia Gandhi, the Italian ruler of India, will lead the Congress party and the UPA in the 2014 general elections. Judging from the history of India (that was Bharat) in the last 1,000 years or more there is no doubt that the Italian will win. The Moghuls  and other Muslims ruled for over 900 years and the British for nearly 200 years. We have had  Swaraj for less then 60 years since 1947. Now the people of India will vote with joy for the fully Italian leader to continue.  She will be succeeded  by her half Italian son. He will, in turn be succeeded by his  half Italian and his wife’s  half Italian son or daughter. That  makes a  full Italian mix!  Bravo, voters of India! God bless you!

Congress playing vote-bank politics in Assam The ongoing violence in Assam is nothing  but the vote-bank politics that the Congress has been playing for decades across the country. In addition by not mentioning  immigrant Bangladeshi Muslims  in their reports, both the State government and  a section of the media are  hiding the truth from  the country. These clashes paint a grim picture of Assam; the  State is dangerously  sitting on a pile of gun powder. Since unchecked infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims has led to a drastic demographic change in the State, the Bodo tribals  are feeling insecure and resorting to violence in self-defense. In fact the Congress is primarily to blame for all the mess in Assam. The party has always nourished illegal Bangladeshi  migration to strengthen its vote-bank in the State.

When will we learn? It is very sad that despite the best efforts by army engineers and the National  Security Guard commandos, Mahi’s (a four year old child) life could not be saved. A magisterial inquiring into  the incident is not good  enough.  The State government must come down heavily on people who dig such borewells and leave them uncapped. Further it is very unfortunate that despite the Supreme Court’s ban on ground water extraction through borewells, the Haryana government has failed to check the practice. This is not the first case which has happened in India.  Every year we hear children falling into these death traps. Despite of such incidents taking place again and again, the  government be it of the State or the Centre has not learned any thing.

Open-book doesn’t suit India Though based on international  experience the CBSE’s reported move to introduce open book tests for board examinations isn’t  a pragmatic one. The chairman of the CBSE has outlined the manner in which the new system would be put in place. The guidance given to students on the test topics will encourage them to relax during  the initial period and go on an overdrive later. Allowing books in the examination hall and asking the students intentionally-designed tough questions is a provocative move. It is also a bit too radical. It would be in the fitness of things for the proposal to be examined in all its  aspects by an expert panel.

UPA rest on politics of flattery  Union Law Minister Salman Kurshid’s  comments that the Congress requires new ideological direction for the young generation but Rahul Gandhi has only given cameos of his  ideas like democratisation of Youth Congress and not “weaved them into a grand announcement” yet-proves correct. By calling a spade a spade Salman Kurshid has done the right thing. Rahul Gandhi has been in the party’s leadership position alongside his mother for several years. What is the outcome. Has the party been rejuvenated? The party’s moribund state is common  knowledge. Has the party restored its inner democracy and become less dependent  on the dynasty? The answer is big NO. In fact what Kurshid said about Rahul Gandhi reminds me of one of the statements of SK Patil in 1963 describing  Jawaharlal Nehru as a banyan  tree under  which nothing can grow.  But despite Rahul Gandhi’s  repeated failures  to lead from the front, a sycophancy driven Congress still believes that he can do miracle. Interestingly, by demanding a large role for him in the functioning of the government and in the party, the Congress has indirectly admitted the  failure of both Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi.

At the outset I congratulate Organiser  for  giving  this good new. Let this be the beginning  of new era of defeats of Congress party and others  and victory of the BJP. Your ‘Special Report’ is special good news for the Hindus and the patriots.  For all the practical purposes  BJP stands as Hindu vote bank and patriotism. Congress is a communal  Islamic political party that stands for promoting Islamisation of India, its defeat is defeat of traitors and is always a good omen. In UP people are not happy with the goonda raj of Akhilesh Yadav. Though BJP has failed to  win majority in these corporations because of independents are in majority, still this achievement is worth and will work as a solid foundation for ensuing Lok Sabha elections. I congratulate all the BJP winners and wish that next time they come in majority and communal and treacherous Congress fails  to open its account! In Madhya Pradesh BJP is in power since December 2003 and has proved its popularity by winning in 733 wards. I am sure this solid foundation will enable BJP to win all MP seats in ensuing 2014 General elections and promote national interests and developments. Already BJP has faired well in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, MP will add to it. Congress is never for the people, they will do no good for the people of the State (MP) or India but only distribute money, biryani and drinks during elections and forget electorate thereafter. Though BJP has failed to  win majority in these corporations because of independents are in majority, still this achievement is worth and will work as a solid foundation for ensuing Lok Sabha elections. Dozens of examples have been given to show, how aggressive Muslims are to achieve their wrong demands and how the government run by the Congress bends before them. In contrast, it has been mentioned how mild the Hindus are even for their  genuine causes, and the Congress government  ignores the Hindus and does cruelty to Hindu saints and respected holy men and women. Of course, what has been said in the editorial are naked facts, and the  Hindus should learn. But the biggest historical wrong,  even bigger than all the wrongs put together, done against the Hindus, by Gandhi, Nehru, Congress leaders, is never mentioned by anybody. In fact Hindus feel afraid of talking about it. On August 15,  1947, India was Partitioned, with Pakistan as an exclusive homeland for the entire Muslim population of India, and the remaining truncated India, now called India, was meant to be homeland for the Hindus, including Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, etc. Now what is the factual position? Practically all the Hindus and Sikhs have been wiped off from Pakistan  and Banladesh where they were 25 per cent and 30 per cent respectively in 1947, in most cruel manner. About 40 lakh Hindus and Sikhs were slaughtered and lakhs of girls and women abducted, raped and sold. Hindus have forgotten all this, and those who remember, are afraid of telling this.  Let us see the situation  in India, the homeland for the Hindus. Muslims who were around 9 per cent in 1947, have doubled and increased to around 20 per cent. Now they  openly do mischief and attack Hindus in our homeland. Unless we cure the biggest wrong,  i.e. make India constitutionally a homeland for the Hindus-Sikhs-Buddhists, etc. just as Pakistan is the homeland  for the Muslims, we will never be able to solve our problems. This is our legitimate right, and we must achieve it, otherwise Hindus and India would be doomed for ever.

Strike: A self-defeating trade union technique (Organiser, 29.7.2012);  Shri MV Kamath’s article in Organiser titled , ‘Strike: A self-defeating trade union, technique’ is a thought provoking article. Actually it is the feudal approach of the government towards its employees which provokes  and compels the government  employees to go on strike with a very heavy heart and as a last resort. Is it not a fact that the parliamentarians  enhances own salaries, allowances and various other amenities without any discussion within five minutes and the petty, reasonable and justified demands of the government employees are kept  lingering for years together on the pretext of public interest. The  people’s  impression that according to courts, government employees have no right to strike, is not correct. If it would have  been so, there would have  been no provision in the Labour Law to serve the strike notice well in advance and try for conciliation and arbitration through the Labour Department. But it is also quite correct that strike as a weapon  should not be misused particularly by the government  employees because it hurts the general public very much. The government employees and the general public are complementary to each other. So they should always  bother for each other in their own interest. But how it can be made possible is the main dilemma. This can be made possible by only patriotic and responsible union of  the government employees through its disciplined cadre. In Japan, when the employees have to go on strike, they go on strike  in rotation without any  harm to their daily output and any inconvenience  to the society. In  contrast to communist unions, the patriotic  union, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) in  our country is striving  hard to achieve such a goal through their disciplined cadre. The national interest which includes the public interest is  foremost for them. Let us wait  and watch.

Sushma Swaraj, Ram Madhav condemn  Interlocutor’s Report (Organiser, 29.7.2012); Smt Sushma Swaraj has rightly said that the Interlocutor’s Report  on Jammu and Kashmir  is the language of the separatist. She is eually correct in criticising  the  “report by saying that the report calls the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK)  as  Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK). It is the same language which was used by Musharaff. It is also objectionable to call the State just Kashmir as its complete name is J&K. The report is an insult to the sacrifice made by Dr Syama Prasad Mookaerjee.” It is true that the Interlocutor’s Report has a marked tilt towards the Kashmir Valley. This is true otherwise  how is it that the interlocutors have shown such undue concern for those who instigated terrorism at the behest  of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence and introduced gun culture in the Valley. Crisis in Kashmir did not came because of extension of Union laws to the State after 1953 but because New Delhi’s  inability to proceed firmly against those elements who under instructions from  across the border wanted to create an order of Nizam-e-Mustafa in the State to wear it away from  India.  The report seem to have deliberately ignored the State of Jammu & Kashmir as a whole including Pakistan occupied Kashmir, remains an integral part of India, which  fact has been even acknowledged by our  Parliament in a resolution. The report  should be forthwith rejected.

God  bless the voters of India It is reported that Sonia Gandhi, the Italian ruler of India, will lead the Congress party and the UPA in the 2014 general elections. Judging from the history of India (that was Bharat) in the last 1,000 years or more there is no doubt that the Italian will win. The Moghuls  and other Muslims ruled for over 900 years and the British for nearly 200 years. We have had  Swaraj for less then 60 years since 1947. Now the people of India will vote with joy for the fully Italian leader to continue.  She will be succeeded  by her half Italian son. Congress playing vote-bank politics in Assam The ongoing violence in Assam is nothing  but the vote-bank politics that the Congress has been playing for decades across the country. In addition by not mentioning  immigrant Bangladeshi Muslims  in their reports, both the State government and  a section of the media are  hiding the truth from  the country. These clashes paint a grim picture of Assam; the  State is dangerously  sitting on a pile of gun powder. Since unchecked infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims has led to a drastic demographic change in the State, the Bodo tribals  are feeling insecure and resorting to violence in self-defense. In fact the Congress is primarily to blame for all the mess in Assam. The party has always nourished illegal Bangladeshi  migration to strengthen its vote-bank in the State.

When will we learn? It is very sad that despite the best efforts by army engineers and the National  Security Guard commandos, Mahi’s (a four year old child) life could not be saved. A magisterial inquiring into  the incident is not good  enough.  The State government must come down heavily on people who dig such borewells and leave them uncapped. Further it is very unfortunate that despite the Supreme Court’s ban on ground water extraction through borewells, the Haryana government has failed to check the practice. This is not the first case which has happened in India.  Every year we hear children falling into these death traps. Despite of such incidents taking place again and again, the  government be it of the State or the Centre has not learned any thing.

Open-book doesn’t suit India Though based on international  experience the CBSE’s reported move to introduce open book tests for board examinations isn’t  a pragmatic one. The chairman of the CBSE has outlined the manner in which the new system would be put in place. The guidance given to students on the test topics will encourage them to relax during  the initial period and go on an overdrive later. Allowing books in the examination hall and asking the students intentionally-designed tough questions is a provocative move. It is also a bit too radical. It would be in the fitness of things for the proposal to be examined in all its  aspects by an expert panel.

UPA rest on politics of flattery  Union Law Minister Salman Kurshid’s  comments that the Congress requires new ideological direction for the young generation but Rahul Gandhi has only given cameos of his  ideas like democratisation of Youth Congress and not “weaved them into a grand announcement” yet-proves correct. By calling a spade a spade Salman Kurshid has done the right thing. Rahul Gandhi has been in the party’s leadership position alongside his mother for several years. What is the outcome. Has the party been rejuvenated? The party’s moribund state is common  knowledge. Has the party restored its inner democracy and become less dependent  on the dynasty? The answer is big NO. In fact what Kurshid said about Rahul Gandhi reminds me of one of the statements of SK Patil in 1963 describing  Jawaharlal Nehru as a banyan  tree under  which nothing can grow.  But despite Rahul Gandhi’s  repeated failures  to lead from the front, a sycophancy driven Congress still believes that he can do miracle. Interestingly, by demanding a large role for him in the functioning of the government and in the party, the Congress has indirectly admitted the  failure of both Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi.
