Rashtra Sevika Samiti is going to organise a 15-day training camp, Vishwa Samiti Shiksha Varg-2012, in Hubli. Beginning on July 22 the camp will conclude on August 6.
Talking to media persons in Hubli, senior Sevika Samiti leader Alakatai Inamdaar informed that around 70 select woman cadres of the Samiti from 16 countries including USA, England, West-Indies, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, etc will participate in the camp.
The camp will be inaugurated at Srinivas Garden of Kunugul Road at Hubli. Samiti’s Akhil Bharatiya Karyavahika Shanthakka Tai and Director of Veda Vijnan Shodha Sansthan Dr Ramachandra Kotemane will also be present at the inaugural ceremony. The Vishwa Samiti Varg is organised once in four years and this year it is the 5th Varg.
Starting in 1936 the Rashtra Sevika Samiti today has activities in 34 countries of the world. Its activities are aimed at uniting Hindu woman across the globe and educate them to protect and preserve the values of Hinduism. In India, the Samiti has over 5,000 shakhas. Smt Nayana Desai, Chairman of the Reception Committee, , Varg Karyavahika Smt Veda Kulkarni, Smt Silochana Nayak, Smt Radha Kulkarni and Smt Sandhya Dikshit were also present at the press meet.
