NEWS ROUND UP-3

ABVP workers heckled pro-Pakistan hardline Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani at a seminar in New Delhi on March 26. As Geelani arrived at the venue in Civil Lines area, the ABVP protesters gheraoed him and shouted slogans demanding him to leave the venue. The seminar for which Geelani arrived was organised by Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS). The police saved Geelani from any physical attack and they escorted him inside the venue. ABVP said it will continue to protest against Geelani’s presence at any seminar in the capital.
