There are many reasons for which you may want to convert a particular text into a vibrant looking image. You may want to do it for decorative purposes. An image might look much better than an ordinary text. But the best thing about images is that they are usually able to escape the eyes of annoying spam bots or other bots like those of search engines. So if you convert your email ID and name into image, before placing the same on your blog or social networking account, your identity will escape the eyes of the spammers. With image you can effectively mask your email ID from automated spamming tools. The system of text in images can also be used for sending confidential information on social media or forums.

Text Ninja

One of the most popular places to convert your text into image is Text Ninja (http://www.txtninja.com/). There is no signup or registration required. You can customise the font type, colour and size of the text. At the end of the process, you get the direct URL, forum URL and the HTML code of the image. On the home page you will find a text box, in which you have to enter the text that you wish to convert into an image. Below the text box there are the specifications regarding Font, Colour and Background. Once you have made your choices, hit on the button that says, “Ninjafy!” Instantly three source codes get generated. Click on the version that suits your needs and copy it for posting into your blog, forum or social network.

Text2Image

Another good place to convert text into images is Text2Image (http://www.text2image.com/pal_t2i/saverSubmit.do). At the centre of the homepage you have the text box, in which you have to input the text you wish to convert. Out here, you can have text of up to 500 characters. Instead of generating a HTML code, this website generates an actual image, which you can copy and save into your computer or post it on any website, forum, etc. The images can be downloaded in GIF, JPEG or PNG formats. The size ranges between 6 points and 24 points. You can specify the text colour, the background colour, the font and the alignment. As soon as you click on the Convert button, the image-based rendition of your text will appear on the home page itself.

Text-Image

The process by which an image can be converted into a text is also quite simple. A human face, a flower, or anything else rendered through a set of computer-generated text does appear bewitching, if it is nicely done. And the same is true for images converted into the HTML or Matrix format. Text-Image is a website that lets you create text versions of images for free. To start generating text images of your choice you have to log on to the website: http://text-image.com/index.html. At the home page there is a link called “Samples” you can click on it to view some beautiful images that have been generated using the Text-Image Converter. There is no need to download any software or to log in, the application runs on the web only.

Click on the Convert icon at the home page. It will take you to a new page where there are three circular colourful buttons on the top – HTML, ASCII and Matrix. Choose one of the three before going ahead with filling up the drop down list. Click on the browse button to select the image from your computer. After that you are required to input your specifications for the final image – characters, font size, image width, colour, background and extra contrast. You also need to specify the web browser that you are using. Click on convert and in a matter of few seconds a converted HTML, ASCII or Matrix rendition of your selected image will appear on  screen. You can left click on the image and save it on your computer.

Currently pictures in BMP, GIF, JPEG, or PNG can be converted by using this web-based application. In case you want to copy the HTML code for the image, all you need to do is right-click and select “View Source”. Here you can cut and paste the part where the image is. It is marked with beginning and end comment.?
