Walmart works through its hired goons here
(Organiser 25.12.2011); This is with  reference to, ‘Walmart works through its hired  goons here’, by Dr Jay Dubashi  in Organiser . The article  is a very informative. After a long debate in the Parliament and outside, the government was compelled to rollback the FDI retail trade proposal as it was viewed not beneficial for the common man. Even then a few days back  Rahul Gandhi during election campaign in UP loudly said in a  display of his super authority in UPA that they  will bring FDIs to solve the problem of rotting potatoes in Punjab. How audacious? This means that UPA is still adamant to bring FDIs issue in the Parliament against the wishes of people. Similar conditions also prevail in case of foodgrains stock  in FCI godowns, where foodgrains rot, but not sent to places where farmers and poor people die of hunger. Our government is in deep slumber, and not realising our potential to meet the challenges. It is really amasing as our country is having a number of  institutes which pass out hundreds of management  experts every year, who have excelled in  their knowledge and  working skill in India and abroad. Then why can’t  such  people be engaged to solve such  problems.  We must understand, if FDIs are allowed to come in India, they too will avail the services of Indian experts to evolve fool-proof  systems for control over the procurement, storage and sale. But here more shocking is that our long experienced ministers like Manmohan Singh, Sharad Pawar, Pranab Mukherjee and Anand Sharma show no interest to this grave problem. According to them only FDIs can solve the problem. But those who sing the chorus in favour of FDIs in retail trade, must know the fact that  FDIs have the mentality of wholesaler to enhance their profit margin. A common man with Rs 50 can buy ½ kg potatoes,  ½ kg onions, ½ kg tomatoes, or ½ kg  of any vegetable in the open market., but  in Walmart’s stores he cannot buy the quantity of his requirement. There every vegetable and other eatables are at least packed in 2½ kg bags, which only rich can afford to buy at a time. Let us not live in illusions.

Sanskrit teaches us to be humble and honest. Make it compulsory subject in school education (Organiser, 13.11.2011); This  refers to ‘Sanskrit teaches us to be humble. Make it compulsory in School education’, by Janki Ballav Patnaik in Organiser.  The literal meaning of Sanskrit itself is  refined and cultured, which includes humble in nature. During British rule i.e. before August 15, 1947, one of the three languages, i.e. Sanskrit, Persian and Arabic were compulsory in middle schools, including government run schools. Most of the Hindu students were studying Sanskrit, whereas Muslims Persian or Arabic. It was so in Punjab and NWFP, and must be so in other provinces also. English was introduced only form 5th class. But as per perception of the Gandhi, Nehru and Congress, anything associated with ancient culture is communal, therefore study of Sanskrit became communal and thrown into dustbin after India got Independence.  Of course Congressmen offer lip sympathy  to Sanskrit to befool the people.  Now a situation has come, where  small kids have to learn English in pre-schooling, as if it is their mother tongue. They know very little of Hindi or their mother tongue. A person without the knowledge of English is treated as illiterate, although one  maybe a scholar of Sanskrit or any other Indian language. This is free India, where the grip of English has become  much stronger, than what it was  during English rule. In fact it is so, not only in the matter of language, but it is so  in all spheres of life, including dress, food habits, manners, social conduct, moral values, etc. All this slavery has been thrust upon and forced by the Congress government.

The only effective measure to save cow (Organiser, 4.9.2011); A lot of hot-selling items such as dry manure, soap, face-cream, shampoo, oil, dhoop, powder for cleaning teeth, eye-drops, processed gomutra and several  types of medicines including those for curing hitherto incurable diseases including cancer   can be manufactured with gomuttra and  gobar. Infact through write-ups we have suggested industrialists to set up cow’s  panchgavya based industries so that demand for gobar (cow dung) and gomutra (cow urine), components of panchgavya, goes  up and farmers maybe encouraged to rear even their old cows which do not yield any milk. A number of industrialists have queried us to give them an idea about the type  of items that can be profitably  manufactured and marketed.  Enterprising industrialists who may like to set up industries to manufacture a number of panchgavya-based items are suggested to get their technicians trained  in the processes of manufacture at  one of the following training centres (this list will ever remain incomplete as more and more goshalas are viewing to provide this facility). Most of these centres give free training  or take nominal fee for  boarding and lodging facilities:-
1. Kanpur Goshala Society, 55/112 General Ganj, Kanpur-208 001 (UP).
2. Deendayal Dham, Nagla Chandrabhan, Farah (Mathura), (UP).
3. Gosamvarden Avam Anusandhan Kendra, Deendayal Shodh Sansthan, Chitrakoot.
4. Divyayog Mandir Trust, Kripalu Bagh Ashram, Kankhal, Haridwar -276 408.
5. Govigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Devlapar, P Bachraj Vyas Chowk, Chintra Quli Mahal, Nagpur-440 002. There is also a need to do research to manufacture many more items with panchgavya, only then panchgavya will be fully utilised.

Where have all the historians gone? Through your weekly let me allow to ask the historians, all political parties, NGOs, print and electronic media and other organisations working as nationalists that on what basis Delhi’s 100 years are being celebrated by the government. Either it is State’s devilish plan or of the Centre— or they are really not aware that Delhi has got a history of more than 100 years. It is true that the Delhi was ruled from and within Delhi by the Hindu kings. Delhi was first ruled by Pandavas. During their rule Pandavas built Old Fort, adjoining to Pragati Maidan. Delhi was ruled by Asoka.During his rule, Asoka with help of Hindu holy seers nailed Delhi on the head of Sheshnag. That nail is still there in the  precincts of Vijay Stambh and in today’s secular tone it is called Qutab Minar. Delhi was also ruled by Vijay. They had built Qutab Minar before Mughal’s conquering Delhi. This Minar was called Vijay Stambh. It was seven storeyed. But due to aircrash its two storeys were damaged and till date it is of five-storey. See the ill-fate that we are taught that it was built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. What message  the government wants to give by defaming the history of Delhi? Whom  the government wants to please by distorting  the history of Delhi. When our leaders are totally illiterate and have no brain, can’t they sit mum? Who are they to defame the history of Dilli.

It is not for the BJP to help Congress run the government (Organiser 18.12.2011); This  is with reference to the interview titled “It is not for the BJP to help Congress run the government’ of Shri Nitin Gadkari in Organiser by Dr R Balashankar. Really it was the BJP government under the Prime Ministership of Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee that promoted nationalism, worked for uplifting of poor masses and controlled the prices of essential commodities. The entire nation will always remember the NDA government for its services. Now what UPA is doing is just the opposite, i.e. it is looting and cheating not only the masses but the entire nation. To cover up their failures they are alluring the  Muslims with reservation policies. The interview has many points that are relevant, timely and highly educative. Infact in the name of development of nation, Congress is ruining the nation and promoting financial  benefits to foreign powers. One recent example of FDI in retail trade is enough to prove that Congress is now ruining even the retail trade for the sake of getting  funds from the foreign powers for election purpose. It is a fact that FDI, if allowed in retail trade would simply destroy our agriculture and ruin our economy. Hope Congress feels some shame and do some good work for the nation before their political death in the forthcoming elections.

A tale of not two but several countries With reference to Shakil Ahmed’s letter ‘A tale of two countries’ (Organiser, 6.11.2011) as comments on Shri Ravi’s column  ‘At Liberty’ (Organiser, 18.9.2011). It is once again clear that he is defending the indefensible as regards Saudi Arabia. Here it is to be brought to his knowledge that the King Ibn-e-Saud was imposed on that Arab country by the Britishers, so that country got its name ‘Saudi Arabia’. Muslims in Bharat generally call it ‘Saudia’. He promulagated ‘Nizam-e-Mustafa’ i.e. ‘Rule of Shariah’. He was a Wahabi, as such the rulers of Saudi Arabia are hell-bent to promote ‘Wahabi Cult’ of Sunni Islam. Saudi Arabia is a totally Islamic country. So as an Islamic country it does not allow any other sort of worship on its territory. Those foreigners who go there for seeking jobs are not allowed to follow their religious rituals. That is against their human rights and is certainly ‘Racial Discrimination’ on the basis of religion. In fact Islam is not a religion but a dogma. As per the analysis of one late Anwar Sheikh, an Islamic intellectual par excellence, Islam is nothing but ‘Arab Cultural Imperialism.’ The rulers of Saudi Arabia are bound to spread the same all over the world according to the tenets of Islam as directed by Quran. So the discrimination against people other than Saudis is factual, not fictitious. As regards the example of Israel, a Zionist country, it is fictitious to equate it with Nazism and Fascism, because thousands of original Arab Muslims are peacefully residing and flourishing there without any bias. To say that Palestinians (Muslims and Christians) living in Israel are the original inhabitants of that country is absolutely false and wrong. Let not only Shakil Ahmeds but others also know the fact that Israeli people are the only one who obtained back the land of their forefathers after nearly 2,000 years of most painful exile. To allege that the columnist of  Organiser has obsessive sympathy with Israel and inherent hatred with Saudi Arabia together with Islam is absolutely wrong. The fact is otherwise.

Why Congress criticises Anna? Congress leaders are rank hypocrites. They criticise Anna Hazare but swear on Mahatma.  Their objection to Hazare is that he “behaves like a dictator” and “imposes” his views on the Parliament which is undemocratic.  Well, Hazare is doing exactly what Gandhi did —imposing his views on the Congress on various issues. History stands testimony that majority of Congress workers and leaders were not happy with some of  Gandhi’s stance and behaviour.  Gandhi either used to walkout of the meeting in a huff or go on indefnite hunger strike if his views were not considered and implemented. Was he democratic?  This blackmail by Mahatma forced the Congress leaders to accept his views. If Congress leaders have great regards for Mahatma—as they say at the drop of the hat —then they must  adopt similar approach towards Hazare too.  If they are true about Gandhi, they must be true to Hazare also.  Or if they are true to Hazare—criticising him and calling  him a dictator—then the Congress leaders must forthwith change their views on Mahatma. Let’s see if the Congress leaders have courage of  conviction and moral fibre in their genes.

Negligence on part of police As per one news headline  in a leading English daily, the alleged kingpin of the Indian mujahideen, though in custody for some petty crime, was allowed to escape due to sheer lethargy on the part of the police force. If true, then this incidence has a precedent in the chequered history of the Indian investigating agencies. Remember the deliberate mishandling of the Quattrocchi extradition case in the Argentinean Court?
