National Security Week by Hindu Manch
Delhi unit of Hindu Manch staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar on December 13 demanding immediate hanging of the Parliament attack convict Afzal. The demonstration was organised against the lackadaisical attitude of the UPA government for hanging Afzal, despite the Supreme Court order for it. Before the demonstration the Hindu Manch also observed National Security Pledge Week from December 6 to 13 to create awareness among the people on national security. The demonstration was concluding part of the weeklong activities. During the week the people pledged for remaining vigilant towards their fundamental duties and to keep a watch on the activities of the new persons entering in their localities. (FOC)
