Tumuluri Lakshmi Narayan passes away

Senior RSS functionary, Tumuluri Lakshmi Narayan, passed away in Hyderabad recently. He was born on February 18, 1930. He joined the Sangh in 1943 and was a Sangh Pracharak from 1947 to 1953. He became editor of Jagruthi, the Telugu weekly in 1953 and of Vijayadasami in 1977. He was also associated with Andhra Pathrika, Indian Express, Andhra Prabha and many others newspapers and magazines. He was also a member of All India Journalist Council. He became a founder member of the VHP in 1965 and also the first Andhra Pradesh State general secretary. He was an advisor for Administration and Endowment Department in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
