Advani lauds pious Travancore royal family

By S Chandrasekhar

Braving a six-foot long pipe bomb packed with 6-kg gelatine explosives and connected to a detonator and 12 volt battery through fifty meters wire and placed under Alampati bridge in Madurai by jehadis, LK Advani arrived in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border point at Aryankavu, to a tumultuous reception by senior BJP leaders and workers led by O Rajagopal, PS Sreedharan Pillai, V Muraleedharan etc on October 28.

Later addressing a mammouth gathering at the Putharikandam Maidan, he said crores of Indians who are toiling in all nations of the world and enriching Bharat with their hard-earned wealth are hanging their heads in shame over the corruption, scams and scandals besetting the nation.

“Neither the people, nor the nation is corrupt. It is the GoI, which is corrupt. The nation’s image has been sullied by the Congress. While many nations are taking strong action to flush out their money from tax havens, GoI is doing nothing to bring back the estimated Rs 25 lakh crore from Swiss banks and tax havens. With this money massive developmental projects, power and water supply schemes and agricultural subsidies in six lakh villages can be initiated. The BJP for long, has been demanding a ‘White Paper’ on money stashed abroad”, Advani said.

Advani charged the Congress with getting away with the loot from scams and scandals and making allies, scape goats.

Addressing the media at Thiruvananthapuram on October 29, Advani lauded the Travancore Royal Family for preserving treasures worth Rs ten lakh crore for almost 300 years in the Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple with total honesty. He said they have proved themselves truly as ‘Padmana-bha Dasa’, in a time where our present rulers and head deep in corruption, scams and scandals.

The Jan Chetna Yatra attracted massive response at Kottarakara, Pandalam, Kottayam and Kochi. Advani’s return from Kochi to Mangalore was also not without apprehension. Reports have come out that the vehicle provided by Kerala government for his travel from Kochi to Kochi International Airport was not bullet-proof. The car developed engine trouble as it entered the Tarmac and fuel from it started leaking and proceeded to the started engine of Advani’s aircraft. A jehadi sabotage cannot be ruled out, says intelligence sources.
