ABVP asks KBC to correct misleading description
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad general secretary Umesh Dutt asked the Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) producers to correct the misleading information regarding the ABVP within a week otherwise it has decided to go for legal action.
The KBC in its programme telecasted on October 11 asked a question on ABVP and claimed that it is a student wing of the BJP. Shri Umesh Dutt clarified that the ABVP is not a student wing of the BJP and it is an independent student organisa-tion registered on July 9, 1949.
ABVP’s registration No. S-385/1949-50. On the other hand the BJP was formed in 1980.
