DRI workers’ training camp RSS for decentralisation
of power

—Ram Madhav

A day long workers’ training camp by the Deendayal Research Institute (DRI) was organised in New Delhi on September 27. Workers belonging to Delhi unit of DRI participated in the camp. Addressing the workers, RSS National Executive Member Shri Ram Madhav said the RSS and all its associated organisations are working to practically materialise the concept of gram swaraj envisioned by Gandhiji and other eminent national heroes. “The policies formulated and implemented in the country after Independence, basically centralised the entire social system. People have become dependent on government for everything. We have to change this system for building a new Bharat. It may take time, but we can achieve the goal if work hard,” said Shri Madhav.
He further said Gandhiji, Ram Manohar Lohia and Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya favoured change in the system as per the changing needs and challenges. They also advocated decentralisation of powers. The RSS is working in the same direction, he added.
Shri Rajkumar Bhatia, former national president of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, said a good worker is always open to learn new things. He described team spirit as the mantra for success. Rajya Sabha MP Shri Bal Apte said Nanaji Deshmukh drew inspiration for social service from the RSS. Former president of Rajasthan BJP Dr Mahesh Chandra Sharma said a worker should be internally strong. Senior Sangh Pracharak Shri Suresh Agrawal stressed the need on coordination. He said one can achieve good results if one has pre determined goals. Shri Abhay Mahajan of DRI delivered the introductory remarks.   (FOC)
