Minorityism: A reflection of national disunity (Organiser, 10.7.11);

This refers to the letter by Syed Shahabuddin in the ‘Reader’s Forum’ page of Organiser. He has written that “ I recall my own experience, when I first came to Delhi in 1966. I found it impossible to get an apartment on rent form Hindu landlords. Things have gone much worse since then.” He then blames Hindus for majoritarianism and discrimination in many forms. Instead of blaming Hindus, he should do some heart searching. Hindus are the most tolerant people in the whole world, almost amounting to stupidity. The most recent example is, that Muslims now living in India had voted for creation of Pakistan as their exclusive homeland in 1945-46 and expelled and liquidate almost the entire Hindus and Sikh population from Pakistan and Bangladesh. But Hindus are so tolerant, that they have not only allowed Muslims to live in India but have given them special rights too. Their condition is so comfortable in India, that even Muslims from Bangladesh and Pakistan are infiltrating into India in quite a large number. In the past they allowed Jews and Parsees too to settle in India, who had to leave their original homelands due to cruelty by the Muslims. They are perfectly comfortable in India. Muslims came here as invaders, and have been inflicting all sorts of cruelties on the Hindu civil unarmed population for the last 1,200 years. They looted and destroyed Hindu’s holy places, temples, burnt libraries, slaughtered Hindus in millions and did all unimaginable cruelties. Even in truncated India, over which they do not have any claim to live, they are indulging in terror, lifting Hindu girls and forcibly marrying them and indulging in all sorts of crimes. They kill cows, held sacred by Hindus, in their mosques, and do not have any regard for the sentiments of Hindu’s Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, which was destroyed by them, for which they should feel ashamed. Still Hindus do not harm them. Hindus do not rent their houses or flats to them out of fear, their bad habits and lifestyle.

Lord Padmanabha’s wealth belongs to Him only (Organiser, 17, 7.2011);

Just as the wealth, treasure and funds of churches, mosques and Wakf cannot be used for the benefit of the general public in the same way the wealth and treasure of the Hindu temples whether they be of Ananta Padmanabha or Lord Venkateswara cannot be used for the general benefit of people. It is the Hindu devotees and rulers that had given the gifts and the offerings to their deities who are in the image of gods that they believe in and worship. Neither government nor any political party will be justified in demanding the treasure of Hindu temples to be used for general purpose.

Hindu Succession Act(Organiser 26.6.11);

A Apropos of a letter concerning Hindu Succession Act in Organiser. I would like to say that the writer has unnecessarily poked his nose into the ‘personal law’ affairs of the Muslim community. If he does not like the interference of a secular Government in the traditional social laws of Hindus, then why he is instigating the same secular government to interfere into the religious rights of Muslims? The Article 14 of the Constitution was applied by the Delhi High Court to allow ‘homosexuality’ since it has wide provision regarding right to equality in inheritance , succession and other affairs related to different genders of our society irrespective of caste and creed. Fortunately Muslim women have no such problems which our Hindu sisters have. They have a dignified status provided by their religion in their individual social, economic and religious rights. They have a share in the inheritance left by their parents, children and other relatives. In the matters of dissolution of marriage, they have a similar right. If the men have the right to divorce (Talaq), the women too have the right to separation (Khula). However the Muslim society needs some reforms. The usage of ‘Triple Talaq’ is an innovation and was even abhorred by Prophet. Unfortunately the Muslim community lost its judicial mechanism and the proper authorised system to implement its social laws and the much needed reforms. Hence there are measures awaiting a proper solution in these matters.

Misreading Baba Ramdev Why should each word of Baba Ramdev be put to critical scrutiny? Though erudite in traditional sciences like Yoga and Ayur Veda, he is not an expert in politics where statements made are different from thoughts withheld. He should be allowed to have a catharses of emotions among his disciples after the undemocratic suppression of his satyagraha movement in Delhi. Baba Ramdev is not a Harvard graduate like our Home Minister and may not be able to convey his ideas in a subtle idiom. The call for Shastra (training in weapons) and Shaastra(learning of scriptures) is as old as the Dashnami Sampradaya of Adi Shankaracharya. Nanga(naked) Sadhus are known for resorting to belligerent methods in the past,though the circumstances were different. The sixth Sikh guru,Guru Hargobind carried the twin swords of Miri and Piri, signifying temporal and spiritual matters respectively. The creation of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh to fight the forces of tyranny at social and political levels had the old ideal of combining religious studies with physical might. Even the non-violent Mahatma Gandhi once observed : If I were to chose between cowardice and violence I would chose violence.” Baba Ramdev’s call for preparing 1,10,000 young volunteers should be viewed in the context of police brutalities on innocent satyagrahis including women and elderly persons in Delhi. Perhaps by the word Sena Ramdev meant security guards for the protection of his flock. A patriotic soul like him cannot think otherwise. In fact,his crusade against corruption is the result of his intense national feeling about which he speaks in every discourse . Besides, the Hindi word Sena does not always mean an army in the sense we understand it in western parlance. One may recall Indira Gandhi as a child led Baanar Sena against the British,without making use of even a pistol. Is Shiv Sena not Sena in the sense of a distinct group?

Today every Indian is very much concerned about what steps the Central government would be taking to bring the trillions of rupees stashed abroad. The fast-unto-death undertaken by Baba Ramdev seems to be a way of putting pressure on the government to start taking concrete measures.The UPA is well aware about the popularity of Baba Ramdev because of his yoga classes. They may probably encash upon it to sideline Anna Hazare. Baba Ramdev is a popular yoga teacher. He should be careful when he treads into political arena where he will encounter lot of detractors who will not hesitate to dig skeletons in his cupboard and start a smear campaign against him.

Ramdev: A victim of politics Undoubtedly, the emotionally charged Yoga guru Baba Ramdev fell a prey to the brutal, barbaric and shrewd politics of UPA government , obviously, due to not being well equipped with political astuteness and master strategies to counter the Congress’ manoeuvrability of managing the movements. The reason may understandably, be attributed to his socio-educational background. Candidly, it is nothing but a persecution of the Hindus by Congress as usual for its politics of vote-bank. Conclusively, nothing concrete seems to be in sight regarding anti-corruption entity and Congress with its shrewd politics of caste and communal divisiveness and diversions will keep it on the saddle and the momentum of movement for anti-corruption will lose its intensity with passage of time till the next election. i.e. 2014.

With reference to the front page news, “The demonic midnight raid. As Congress pushes panic button,” in Organiser, I would like to say that it is shameful for every Hindu born in and around India to see that a die-hard patriot who is fighting against corruption and black money which is stored in Swiss and other foreign banks is being treated like a criminal. The police who attacked Baba Ramdev and his followers in Delhi have committed a heinous crime against humanity. I really doubt all those who attacked Baba Ramdev don’t eat normal food. This lot also includes our useless Prime Minister who supported this attack openly in public. It is time for all Hindus to wake up and kick out the Congress from power, the way Congress kicked out Baba Ramdev and his followers from Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi. This is the only proper reply that we all should give to UPA, What Organiser has mentioned that “Beginning of the end of UPA” is going to be a reality in near future.

UPA hides vital facts on Lokpal (Organiser, 12.6.11);
According to the doctrine of the Indian Jurisprudence all are equal before law. In other words no one is above law. No gender discrimination has been made by the Indian Constitution too. It is being said that President of Indian union is first citizen of this country. Similarly Prime Minister, Chief Justice of the Apex Court and all high courts and Speaker of the Lok Sabha are also citizens like us and others. Under the circumstances proposed Lokpal Bill must be applicable to all irrespective of their status. But no consensus regarding this is taking place between drafting committee consisting of UPA government and members of civil society because of pungent difference of opinion on it. Mere raising verbal slogans of unanimity by saying that we all Indians are one and children of one mother i.e Bharatmata and we all are brothers and sisters is not enough. This sprit should be reflected in action. This is an golden opportunity for all the VIPs to prove their brotherhood by giving immediate consent to cover them under the purview of proposed Lokpal Bill. No one should be exempted from this Bill.

Will Pakistan split? Today Pakistan is at stake. After the killing of Osama in Pakistan all jehadi organisations are at war against Pak army. According to the Pak with Urdu media, the main aim of this suicidal attack is to destroy the power of Pak army and break up the relation of Pak with America. A Pakistani blog writer writes, “are we on the verge of civil war?” Perhaps, his expectation is true. Government of Pakistan called all parties to join hands with government in this crucial time. But government‘s attempt has not shown any result. Pak army is unable to control this situation. In this situation a simple question comes in our mind. What is the fate of Pakistan? Before we know it, we should know how Pakistan came into existence? What is the history behind its formation? To know the answer of these questions we go back. Pakistan had no history before 1947. Pakistan came into existence due to radical Islamic movement in the name of Islam. But there was no cementing bond to join the people of newly made nation. Due to this reason a big part of Pakistan got cut from it in the name of Bangladesh. At that time Pak army had lost its power. Now Pakistan has been suffering from same situation. Pakhatun movement is going on in Pakistan. It started against inequality in jobs, developments and educations. This movement was crushed down by Pak army. Sindh is facing the same situation. The ‘Geo Sindh’ movement was started for the separation of Sindh from Pakistan. Now return to the question what is the fate of Pakistan? Answer is very simple. If Pakistan army loses its power as jehadi wants, then Pakistan will split.

Hypocricy of the Congress Till yesterday the Congress was very firmly justifying the crackdown of Baba Ramdev’s meeting at the Ramlila ground, New Delhi. The Congress leader Digvijay Singh leashed himself out that for protests, etc. the site at the Jantar Mantar has been provided. Today, we are told that Anna Hazare cannot have his protest at the Jantar Mantar and Section 144 has been imposed to curb that. It is quite clear that the Government is nervous and has lost all sense of proportions!

Now it is Sonia’s turn After doubts were raised by Congress leaders about the assets and funds received by the trusts run by Baba Ramdev, he made all information regarding them public. BJP General Secretary and incharge of party affairs in Uttarakhand, Shri Thavar Chandra Gehlot has rightly said that now it is the turn of Sonia Gandhi to make information public about the trusts she is heading. Sonia Gandhi is heading over a dozen trusts including the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and she should tell people that from where the funds are coming and where they go.

UPA has no concern for the poor Repeated increase in the price of LPG and Kerosene shows that the government has no concern for the poor or even the country’s middle class. It is shameful that the government is cheating the people of India by revising the price of petrol every now and then. In the past year alone, the government increased the price of oil nearly ten times. Is it fair on the part of the government to increase the prices of petroleum and its products to please the oil companies? Why are petroleum products subsidies to be eliminated completely? The government is least bothered about the hardships of the common man nor does it care about any protest because general elections is still far away. There is a need for a revolution against the government’s erroneous economic policy. Further why does PM, a well-known economist, not realise that his government’s policies aren’t benefitting people. It is surprising that while the government admits that inflation is a serious problem, it continues to increase the fuel prices, which add to inflation. Why can’t the government recover millions of rupees that have been lost in various scams and use them to subsidise the fuel

The dire need of the day is to effectively and successfully fetch the desired relief to the suffering of humanity which is undergoing various troublesome complications and resultant disorders having crept into our bodies by stages.It is basically due to dreadful result of widespread fast food, vicious thinking, polluted environment, unchecked adulteration in edibles and haphazard haste in every day living. Remaining healthy is the greatest bliss of Mother Nature manifesting a pious canvass of Almighty God’s love in its purest form. The track leading to it needs concentrated attention with utmost priority. Simple and steady natural daily life routine with sincere attitude keeps human life energetic, preserve strength thereby increasing flow of smooth human life-spam. This many enable one to acquire bright divine light giving a clear message of ray of hope for the people caught in the pitch darkness of ignorance and despair. On the other side, staggering and unbridled way of life may lead one to a painful suffering ending up having led a purposeless life.
