THIS year two first year Sangh Shiksha Vargas were held in Delhi. The first Varga was held for the swayamsevaks of Delhi alone, between the age group of 18 to 40, while the second Varga was held for the swayamsevaks of Uttar Kshetra (Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K) between the age group of 40 to 65. Both the Varga began on June 5 and concluded on June 25.

A total of 375 shiksharthis, including 268 between the age of 18 to 40, and 107 between the age group of 40 to 65, underwent training at these Varga. Five shiksharthis had come from Arunachal Pradesh. Prof. Rajkumar Bhatia was Vargadhikari of the Varga for swayamsevaks of 40 to 65 years age. Noted industrialist and businessman of Delhi Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja was Vargadhikari of the Varga for swayamsevaks of 18 to 40 years of age. Presiding over the concluding ceremony, former Income Tax Commissioner Shri Jagat Ram Sharma applauded the RSS activities and extended full support.

Secretary general (organisation) of the VHP Shri Dinesh Chandra said RSS is being targeted today because it is the biggest hurdle in the way of the forces which want to divide the Indian society. He said the RSS has been working for nation building for the last 85 years. “The RSS believes that if the people are good and have good character most of the problems will automatically be resolved. Some foreign and anti-national forces are trying their best that Bharat should not become a super power. That is why they are aiming at weakening the country. Since RSS is a big hurdle in their way, it is being defamed and systematically targeted. But this is a fact that they will not succeed in their game plan,” Shri Dinesh Chandra said. (IVSK)
