WRITTEN in the form of a diary, this book will help the readers to get through the storm of a job loss at this particular time of financial crisis. There are many people currently out of work and many of them do not know what to do in life, though they do not want to go back to their old reality. They believe that they deserve better and thus want something that they can be happy with. This book will help to awaken their consciousness and as the author very candidly admits, “Looking at the figures and seeing just how many people are seeking jobs, really woke me up to find how dramatic the situation is.”

When she was told by her boss Peter Gould, CEO of the company she was working for that her job was redundant and “we’re not going to be able to keep you any longer,” her heart sank for “in a few seconds, with those few words, my life changed. My future had altered. What was I going to do?”

She had been working in London and was now without a job. The time had come to test her beliefs to the limit and at the time of global crisis. She got down to jotting down in her diary her thoughts, desires and beliefs and wherein she shares her life story to inspire others going through similar experiences, particularly those who might not have the tools that she acquired while working elsewhere for eight years and those who are “job seekers, job haters, graduates, stay-at-home moms and people simply bored with their jobs, not just to find ‘a job’ but the job, their heart corresponds with their desires and needs, so that they can wake up in the morning, fully alive and passionate about what they are doing; a job they know that they will do well but which stretches them, one that feels great!”

From the moment she is sacked, she sits down to write her 30-day stream-of-consciousness diary. Time has come to test her beliefs to the limit: she uses the ‘law of attraction’ at the time of the global crisis to find for herself her dream job and thereby empower the others to do the same.

Another important aspect of this book includes three very valuable points the author gives for ‘shifting energy’. These are applicable when we find a conversation taking an ugly turn, especially when the other party does not understand our point of view. It is at such moments that ‘shift of energy’ becomes useful. The prime aim here is to focus on breathing in and breathing out and taking time out as it helps us considerably.

The author, through a battery of mood-shifting, life-embracing and reality-changing techniques attempts to prove to herself and the reader that a juicier way of living is possible. All we need is to follow our passion in which our true creativity, joy and self-expression reside. We need to listen to your heart and it will guide us in our life’s journey.
