A 15-day training of Rashtra Sevika Samiti was organised in Delhi from May 21 to June 5. A large number of girls and women from Delhi underwent training at the camp. Speaking at the concluding ceremony Akhil Bharatiya Karyavahika of the Samiti Sushri Shantakka said the prime objective of such training camps, which are organised all over the country mostly during summers, is to make the women aware of present condition of the nation and also to prepare them for self-defence.

Commenting on the midnight crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his peaceful supporters at Ramlila Grounds on June 4 she said by crushing the agitation of Baba Ramdev so inhumanly the Congress-led Government has shown its autocratic face.

Sarvadhikari of the Varga, Smt Krishna Sharma said the 15-day training at the camp definitely enhanced the self-confidence of the participants. Presiding over the function senior journalist Pratibha Advani said the way a housewife strengthens her family, the same way she should strengthen the society and contribute in the development of the nation. Prant Karyavahika Smt Radha Mehta proposed a vote of thanks.
