Durgavahini training camp in Delhi

A week-long training camp for the activists of Durgavahini was organised in New Delhi. Speaking at the concluding ceremony on May 29 vice president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Meenatai Bhatt described women as the foundation of samskars in the society. She stressed the need to develop self-confidence among women.

Vargadhikari Smt Manju Seth said people spend thousands of rupees for the training of personality development, but the kind of training Durgavahini imparts in such week-long camps is imparted nowhere. Presiding over the function, Prof. Meenu Kataria said if the mother does not have good samskars we cannot expect good samskars among the children. Kshetra convener of Durgavahini Smt Malati Sharma said about 40 training camps of week-long duration have been organised all over the country in which a large number of women are being imparted different kinds of training. The girls who underwent training at the camp also displayed some activities which they learnt at the camp. (FOC)
