BHILWARA unit of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) organised a grand Swadeshi Sankalpit Parivar Mahasangam recently. Over 10,000 people from over 200 places representing 57 communities of the region, who follow the ideology of swadeshi in their daily life, participated in the Mahasangam.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Arun Ojha described the family as backbone of the Indian economy. “If majority of the Indian families decide to abide by Swadeshi way of life, India will become economically independent and self-reliant. The family system that exists for centuries in India is capable of taking us ahead of the developed countries,” he said.
Presiding over the function, Dr Mahesh Chandra Sharma, former State president of BJP, highlighted the unparalleled achievements of India in the fields of science and knowledge. “We have failed to understand the importance of the achievements that our ancestors made and hence could not make rest of the world realise our advancement in these fields,” he regretted. He said at the time when the younger generation is being imparted education based on the concept that ‘West is Best Model’, it is the family alone that can connect it with the Indian values. National secretary of BMS Shri Jayanti Lal Jain and State convenor of Swadeshi Jagran Manch Dr Rajkumar Chaturvedi also spoke on the occasion.(FOC)
