ABVP has alleged that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is using the picture of its worker in its election campaign. “In one of its banners the party used the pictures of wounded people as the victims of CMP atrocities. But it shocked us to note that the picture of a wounded young boy in its banner is of a ABVP worker, Niraj Kumar, who is executive member of our Kolkata unit. He was not victim of any political clashes between rival parties but he became the victim of anti-national forces in Jadavpur University when ABVP organised a protest against anti-national elements there. ABVP is against this type of cheap publicity for political gains,” ABVP said in a statement. (FOC)
