THE National Executive Council meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat was organised in Vadodara from January 22 to 23. A total of 175 workers from 32 Prants participated in the meeting. Prior to the National Council meeting, the National Executive Meeting was organised on January 21. Expressing concern over the growing price rise in the country the workers resolved to organise ‘No Purchase Day’ on March 15 all over the country. They also decided to organise Grahak Shakti Pradarshan on April 7 through a demonstration in New Delhi. A public meeting was also organised in Vadodara which was addressed by noted economist Dr Bajranglal Gupt, minister in Gujarat government Shri Pradip Singh Jadeja and Mayor of Vadodara Smt Jyotiben Pandya. RSS National Executive Member Shri Shrikant Joshi, national president of the Grahak Panchayat Shri Rajbhau Pophali, national vice president Shri Prabhunath Jaiswal and other senior leaders were also present at the meeting.
