HIMACHAL Pradesh Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal visited Kalyan Ashram hostel in Shimla on November 5 to celebrate Deepawali with the Vanvasi students staying there. A total of 20 students from various Vanvasi communities of Himachal Pradesh stay at the hostel to pursue their studies. The Chief Minister presented them blankets, sweets and also firecrackers. He stayed there for an hour. Local officials had also accompanied him. Akhil Bharatiya Shraddha Jagaran Pramukh of Kalyan Ashram Shri Suresh Kulkarni and State vice president Shri Nihal Chand Thakur were also present on the occasion.
