Savagery of the Police ABVP activists brutally beaten

THE brutual face of the police stands unmasked and ripped apart. The way police checked the ABVP activists and Lathicharged them clearly betray the vindictive spirit of the police. Several dozen students were grievously wounded due to brutal Police action and had to be admitted to hospital. The organising secretary of the Parishad and the observer of Haryana, Punjab had his hand fractured due to merciless caning by the Police and his hand had to be operated upon. The students were calling upon the governor to submit their memorandum concerning their grievances and gross injustice and discrimination. They were being flagrantly subjected to and they had sought prior appointment with the Governor for this purposes.

The atrocities committed by the Police fearlessly point to the acquiescence collusion of the Haryana Government The ABVP activists hold a rally on the ground of Sect 25 Chandigarh on September 17, 2010 to discuss their various problems. Many office bearers Shri Niwas, Dinesh Chohan, Vikram Koka, Varun Choudhary, Surinder Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Parveen Mehta, Dinesh Ban and Sanjay Lakkara. After this rally when all students were proceeding towards the Governor’s House to submit their memorandum in a peaceful procession, they were forcibly stopped by the Police and assaulted and caned brutally without any provocation or violance.
