NOTED surgeon, writer and artist Dr Jitendra Sahay passed away in Hyderabad on September 19. He was 82. He was not keeping well for some time. He was north-east zonal patron of Sanskar Bharati. Kshetra Pracharak Shri Swant Ranjan, Prant Pracharak Shri Anil Thakur, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Sushil Kumar Modi, zonal president of Sanskar Bharati Shri Shyam Verma and many other intellectuals, artists and medicos who were present at the crematorium ground in Patna, paid their tribute to the departed soul.
In his tribute Sanskar Bharati’s national joint organising secretary Shri Amirchand described the death of Dr Sahay as a major loss not only to the Sanskar Bharati but to the entire literary world. He had achieved a significant place in the field for literature not only in Bihar but also all over the country. Despite being a leading surgeon he used to write good quality literature regularly. Uttar Poorva Kshetra organising secretary Shri Ashok Tewari spoke about the charming personality of Dr Sahay.
