ABVP swept the students union poll in DAV (PG) College, SGRR (PG) College, MKP (PG) College, DBS (PG) College and Government College Dakpathar. ABVP’s Anshul Chawla was elected president in DAV College, Dehradun. Anjali Gupta won the post of president in MKP College while Kuldeep Rawat was elected president in DBS (PG) College. Deepika Negi of MKP College and Sujeet Thapa from DBS College were declared winner as general secretaries.
ABVP won the post of president in DAV College for the fourth time. It won all the seats including president, general secretary, vice president, joint secretary, treasurer and university representative. After the announcement of results, the ABVP organised peaceful rallies and the elected candidates were accompanied with thousands of students dancing on the tunes of drums.
