INDRAPRASTHA Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised a workshop in New Delhi on Sri Ramjanmabhoomi issue on September 4. Speaking on the occasion central secretary of VHP and national spokesperson Dr Surendra Jain said the Hindu society would accept nothing but Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya. “There are ample evidences that prove that there has been a temple in Ayodhya since centuries. It has been proved even in the excavation conducted under the direction of the court,” he said reiterating that no mosque would be accepted within the cultural boundary of Ayodhya. He appealed to the government to enact a law in the Parliament allowing the construction of Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya as was done with case of Somnath temple in Gujarat.

Shri Baldevbhai Sharma, editor, Panchjanya, described Sri Ram as the identity of Bharat and said the reconstruction of His temple at His birth place would further strengthen this identity. He said those who are asking for evidences of the temple in Ayodhya are befooling the people as there are concrete evidences which prove that there has been a temple there since centuries and the worship of Sri Ram is going on there for years.

Presiding over the workshop senior saint Swami Raghvananda Maharaj, president of Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, Delhi, said the reconstruction of Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya would energise the whole nation. Apart from Delhi VHP president Shri Swadesh Pal Gupta, general secretary Shri Satyendra Mohan, organising secretary Shri Karuna Prakash, secretary of Shri Hanumat Shakti Jagran Samiti Shri Brij Mohan Sethi, media Pramukh Shri Vinod Bansal, various intellectuals, scholars and distinguished people of Delhi were also present on the occasion.
