Massive response to Sri Hanumat Shakti Jagran campaign

SRI Hanumat Shakti Jagran campaign which began simultaneously at thousands of places all over the country on August 16 with the resolve of reconstructing Sri Ram temple at Ayodhya proved to be a big hit. More than 3.5 lakh devotees took pledge to this effect at 827 places on August 16 only. All these devotees urged the UPA government to enact a law in Parliament and pave the way for reconstruction of the temple in Ayodhya. The functions were held at 135 places in Ayodhya alone. Chairman of Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Trust, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was among the senior saints who attended the functions. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat participated at a function in Nagpur while Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi attended the function in Pune.

There are reports of organising functions even in the remote areas. Three functions were held in Andamans also on August 16. The functions were organised at Saraswati Shishu Mandir. All the Acharyas and students participated in the ceremony with great enthusiasm and devotion. Organising secretary of Eastern zone Shri Vijay Ganesh Kulkarni and Prant convenor Shri Gupteshwar Thanapati and principal Shri Ranjit Rai were also present on the occasion. A similar function was also organised at Radha Krishna temple at Junglighat. Swami Haripadananda Maharaj of Bharat Sevashram Sangh, famous Surya Yogi Sri Uma Shankar were present at the function. Poorva Kshetra Pracharak Shri Advaita Charan Dutta, Vibhag Pracharak Shri Krishna Mondal and others were also present on the occasion. A function was also organised at Sri Shyam Sunder Temple at Rangat with huge gathering of devotees. (FOC)
