THIS is a compilation of papers presenting a glimpse of the interpretations made by different persons on the thoughts and views of Shri Golwalkar or Guruji as he came to be popularly known.

The architect of national and cultural resurgence was Guru Golwalkar who was a role model of Indian nationalism and culture. He was brought up in an environment of Vedantic philosophy through which the knowledge of God was conveyed to the ancient Indian civilisation.

Prof. Bajrang Lal Gupta in his paper tries to highlight the differences in the growth aspects of Indian and Western cultures. He says that in Indian thought, mental and spiritual growth is emphasised, whereas in Western culture, materialism has been supreme.

This is a book worth studying for the various interpretations presented on Guruji’s ideology. —MG
