“IT is write time to finish the Maoists from India. The Maoist ideology based on human killing has failed in the world and even China, the land of Mao himself, has deviated from Maoism in practice. This ideology cannot bring peace or happiness in the world,” said Major General (retd.) Shri KK Ganguly while addressing a function organised at Keshav Bhawan Auditorium in Kolkata to celebrate the Azad Hind Fauj Diwas. The function was organised by West Bengal unit of Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad.

He said all the political parties are now in one tune to finish the Maoist menace from India. So, the government should take the initiative to apply proper force against these terrorists. He urged the audience to preach the message and life of Subash Chandra Bose. Other speakers included RSS Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Ranendralal Banerjee, advocate Shri Kamal Banerjee, former ex-servicemen Shri Shanti Bhusan Das and Shri Sujit Kumar Das. General secretary of West Bengal unit of the Parishad Captain (retd.) Shri Susanta Dey conducted the proceedings and Nayek (retd.) Shri Debiprasad Roy proposed a vote of thanks.
