Pravasi Bharatiya Bharat Gaurav Award to Professor MG Prasad

MG Prasad, a professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ was recently awarded the Bharat Gaurav Award by the Indian International Friendship Society in New Delhi during a Conference on Global Participation in India’s Economic Development. The award translates into English as “The Pride of India Award”.

The award was conferred on Prof MG Prasad for meritorious services, outstanding performance and a remarkable role. It was presented to Prof. Prasad by His Excellency Shri Iqbal Singh, Governor of Puducherry and Shri Mukul Wasnik, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment.

At present, Prof Prasad serves as a Director of the Noise and Vibration Control Laboratory in Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Professor MG Prasad is also the Director of Indian American Intellectuals Forum for Education and Social Services.
