DADRA Nagar Haveli unit of Kalyan Ashram organised group Suryanamaskar in its hostels of Randha and Khanvel on Das Navami, February 7. A total of 84 students performed 6,979 Suryanamaskars. Ramdas Kadali, the 10th standard student of Khanvel hostel, stood first with performing 186 Suryanamaskars. His brother Jayaram Kadali stood second with 175 Suryanamaskars while Yashwant Bhoya stood third with 172 Suryanamaskars. In the evening a satsang was organised at the Randha hostel which was attended by a former forest officer of Selvasa Shrikrishan Khare. He told the students how Samartha Ramdas had apprised the people of the importance of strength through Suryanamaskar. Many families of Selvasa also assembled at Randha for the function.(FOC)
