Former RSS Sarsangha-chalak Shri KS Sudarshan said united efforts are necessary for achieving all round development of the country and education with economic empowerment of women is must to achieve this goal. He was addressing the concluding ceremony of Dhirendra Women College foundation day in Varanasi on December 11.
Shri Sudarshan said if we have to spread the Indian culture all over the world we have to make ourselves strong as nobody listens to the weak.
BJP leader Shri Omprakash Singh said apart from education the preservation of culture and dharma is also necessary. National Executive Member of RSS Shri Indresh Kumar and former Vice Chancellor of Reeva University Prof. Devendra Singh also spoke on the occasion. Girls of the college presented different cultural activities.
Shri Sudarshan honoured six teachers of various colleges on the occasion. They included Dr Suman Jain of BHU, Prof KK Jaiswal, Prof MC Vijayat, Prof Kalplata Pandey of Kashi Vidyapeeth, Dr Sushil Gautam, Shri Pradip Ghosh of DPS (Varanasi). The best teachers’ award of the College was presented to Dr Archana Shrivastava.
